Mark got to work on Wind's eye, cutting off the nerves so he wouldn't feel pain from the loss of his eye. He also threated the other wounds. He put some herbs to seal the wound off from the other parts of Wind's body so it would get infected. "I have experence with this type of injury." he said jokingly, pointing to his glass eye. "There, he should be fine." he said. "I won't charge anything, you are the only good people left around here." he said. "The Ballas and Los Vagas are both evil jerks." he said. "You are the only hope to restore peace." he said. "Anyone else need some help?"

Timmy looked at Meldox. "What about Mr. Mammoth?"

Wind slowly began to wake. "Uhn......" He winced a little. He grumbled and looked at Mark's paw.

"Ah he's woken up." said Mark. "Hello, I'm Mark, I doctored you up." he said. "I couldn't save your eye but I've stopped the pain." he said. "Your remaining eye will gain strength to make up for it, other than your eye, you're as healthy as an Ox." he said. "You've got the heart of a horse."

Mark turned his attention to Mammoth. "Gigantism I'm guessing." he said. "I can fix up his knees but I can't do anything about his brain." he said. "So it will only help him temporally."

Mammoth got up and walked over with a groan. "Meldox, what do you say?" he asked, he was quite loyal to Meldox.

Timmy whimpered and looked at Wind. "Are you ok Mr. Wind?"

Wind winced and placed himself on his belly and began to get up. He growled, in pain. He then made a huge huff. He was about to cough, so he covered his mouth, so Timmy wouldn't see he was coughing up blood. "I'm fine Timmy, thanks for the concern." He nuzzled Timmy in a brotherly way. He then began to walk away from his friends, but collapsed. He winced and got up again.

"Wind, were are you going?" asked Beth. "I know the X's were after you but the explosion killed nearly all of them and wounded the rest, they won't be coming back anytime soon."

Mark came over and gave Wind something. "It will stop the internal bleeding." he whispered, so not to frighten Timmy.

Wind looked at Mark. "Thanks, but no thanks, I suffer because I desire nothing less." He said. He looked at Beth kind of sorrowful like. "I....can't stay to near you....I'm the reason why the X's came....I'll just be a danger to all of you." He said to her.

"At least stay until you've healed." said Beth. "The X's are badly wounded and a lot of them are dead." she said. "Baron took off with the Ballas after them, he must hate them as much as you do." she said. "They'll probably take a few of them out before they leave the area." she said. "So we've got some time until they're able to return."

Mammoth nodded. "Alright Mark, work on my knees."

"Alright, is there a more sanitary place for me to work?" asked Mark.

Wind looked at them. He closed his eyes and looked away from them. Come on don't cry....don't cry! He thought in his mind. He open his eyes. "I can't stay with you guys forever....but I'll stay for now." He said taking a deep breathe.

"Wind, the herbs weren't entirely to help you." whispered Mark. "I don't think ether of us wants the pup to see you coughing up blood."

Beth went to Meldox. "Looks like that trap paid off big time." she said. She looked back at Wind. "Wind...they weren't just here for you...they wanted Timmy as well."

Wind looked at Meldox, and the others. He walked over to a tree, and pounced up onto the branches. He need time to think. He sighed a little.
