"Well whats it going to be? Stay here and get beaten within an inch of your life? Or try to run faster than the wind and save your hide?" Jasango snarled taking a stiff legged step foward, muscles jumping beneath his pelt, charged with enough energy to easily run Lothario down and deliver his threat. "You've got only moments to decide before I go full wolf on you sorry A**." Jasango said taking another step fowards, but then he heard a sound that he heard once before, but he couldn't resist it. He lunged at Lothario teeth snapping shut with a metallic clang, just inches away from his face, then with a snarl he turned towards the forest and was gone.

Lothario's lip curled, revealing pointed, gleaming fangs and a dangerously massive jaw. A low growl rumbled through the silence; now he was provoked. The large wolf's hackles raised, and he lunged forward after a split second's hesitation.

He might have landed on his target, Tsume, to rip his neck out, if someone hadn't caught him by the scruff.

Lothario's airway cut off for a moment, and he hit the ground backwards with a paw on his throat. He opened his eyes, expecting it to be Blue as usual, but instead he saw Rowan's icey gaze. "Rowan?! What are you doing?"

Feeling betrayed, his ears pinned back immediately and he stopped snarling.

"I'm sorry, but I cannot let you hurt my friends," Rowan said, flattening an ear as well. She did not enjoy attacking anyone she considered a friend, but she would do it to protect another.

Understanding slightly, Lo nodded a little and scrambled to his paws. "Atleast meet me tomorrow at the edge of the territory, will you? I've missed you." When Rowan dipped her head in agreement, he turned tail and ran.
Blue turned to Rowan when she headed over to her side, not saying a word to the others. "What was all that about?" She growled under her breath.

"Nothing. I don't want to see a fight, is all..."

"Sure, that's it, obviously," Blue said sarcasticly, glancing at Tsume with a narrowed eye. "Of course you aren't protective of anyone, right?"

"...Shut up."

Jasango's ears were perked foward, he heard a flute, the music was entrancing. Notes flowed through the air with grace, then a voice joined in with the notes. 'Come to me oh noble creatures, share your wisdom and grace, hear these words and come to me, oh ye noble creatures' Jasango knew what it was, it was the song of the furstrippers, Jasango had escaped them once, but now he went to stop them for good. The lady that was singing said to him 'Hello there noble wolf, please come into the light, nothing will happen.' Jasango snorted, "You wish, you hag." The woman gasped 'Its him, stop him now!' she yelled at the flute player, who inturn started to play a sleeping spell, but Jasango's teeth flashed and the man had no air to play the song with, "Begone from this land witch, you have no power over me here." then turning around Jasango dissapered the way he came.

Harper snarled. "Why the frick did you do that?" She glared at Rowan feircly. "I would have been able to kill him." She flicked her tail and flashed her teeth. "And why the he*l are you going back to him? He's a frickin' tramp!" She raised her hackles and dug her claws into the moist earth.

Hige reached the group and looked around. "Okay, what happened? Sorry, I got distracted." His stomaach rumbled, reminding him of hsi failure to get food.

harper rolled her eyes. "Rowan just agreed to meet on some sort of "date", stupid." She growled, still miffed that she didn't get the opertunity to attack. She loved to fight. Might as well show wolves not to mess with her untill she was finaly defeted.

Tsume glowered at Rowan, his eyes telling her that he was verry disapointed, not in losing a potental battle, but in losing a friend. But on the outside, he looked like his regualr cold self. He didn't speak, only slowly turning, hackles raised, and walking to the brush, laying down in the dried fawn-grass. That basterd... he whimpered in his head. Did there have to be a challenge at every desission?

lol sorry about spelling and not using Toboe. I'm waiting for Kiba to say somthing before I get the little dude up XD

Rowan snarled, fangs gleaming at Harper, "I did not! You think I'll actually show up?! We're going to be long gone by then!" However she calmed down slightly, ice blue eyes narrowing. "I just didn't want him hanging around here bugging me."

Blue flattened an ear, and decided to keep quiet. She couldn't tell if Rowan was lying and making this whole thing up or not, for once. Maybe she was telling the truth.

The slender white wolf lashed her tail and then scoffed, looking away, not wanting to meet anyone's gaze, especially the grey male who had already walked off.

"Okay, so the stalker came back," said Hige, trying to udnerstand what was happening, "and you offered to meet him on a..." He snickered. "On a date. And now you aren't gonna go? Cool!"

Harper laughed sarcasticly. "Yeah, and what makes me know you're lying? Oh, wait! Cuz maybe on how you greeted him?" She growled.

Toboe looked at Harper from halfway up the hill. Oh, crap. She's causing trouble again. He whimpered. Might as well stop her now. I don't want her ears torn off... Toboe trotted down the hill. Kiba could wait just a little.
He reached Harper, and slunk a little bit lower. he flattened his ears and stood beside Harper, and woofed to her. "Harper, might as well stop. Kiba is up on the knoll. We can go up there and go back to the city!" he wagged his tail enthusiasticly, hoping that she could be convinced.

Besides, Harper. If we go with him, maybe the rest will come and we can accaully get to Paradice this time. We know what's comming, right? he mind-messaged.

"But we can't go back." She growl-whined at him. She looked verry stressed. Her ears were compleatly pressed back, sinking in her skull, her eyes were wide, and her head low. She looked at Toboe, raising her hackles again. The mere thought of the black bi-eyed wolf that had killed her made her feel insicure.

"Why?"

"It just.....It won't be the same...." She growled. Her ears flicked forward and she stalked away to one of the boulders. She lept onto the side, scrambling up to the top. There she curled up, and rested her paws on her chin, her muzzle wrinckled and fangs showing at the tips.

Jasango came up to the group just as tsume walked off into the brush, 'Hmmmm, how can I lighten things up a little?' Jasango thought, then he got an idea, running towards Toboe he barked as he soared over him and the wolves. Landing on the other side of the group looked towards Toboe plafully, with a 'come and get me' look on his face.

Rowan curled her lip at Harper in disapproval. "What's the matter? Suddenly lose all your spunk?" Expecting Harper to just snap back something smart, Rowan stood up and turned away, stalking off, neck and back fur bristling like it had been rubbed the wrong way.

Alright, she knew she shouldn't have spoke to Harper like that, because the grey female obviously was really upset about something. But Rowan was sick of Harper's outbursts, sick of being with the pack most of all.

If she couldn't greet an old friend without the others throwing him out, maybe she should head back to Quent after all. Maybe she'd even get a little revenge if she found the pack. She could attack them without feeling guilt.

These horrible thoughts eased her anger, made her feel a little better.

Of course she wouldn't really go back to Quent and hunt wolves for him. But she didn't like the thought of staying with this pack any longer.

Blue pinned her ears back, knowing that look on Rowan's face as she left, and turned to Hige. "I think she's leaving for good this time..." Blue looked again, and was right, seeing as the white wolf was still walking out of the territory, gradually speeding up to a run.

Rowan lashed her tail, deciding that running would help her make up her mind, and sped up.

I really like this Tsume wolf, he's a good guy, but...I can't stand anyone else. Even Blue, anymore.

Rowan eventually slowed down and sat at the edge of a river, glaring at the reflection she saw.

lol sorry, didn't see the new post XD

Harper glared at Rowan, her muscles itching to chase her. She looked at Toboe one last time, and set off. She didn't care if it ment her ears off; at least she could get Rowan back.

Toboe looked at Harper race off, and didn't know what to do. He sat down and looked at everyone with flattened ears. He obveiously couldn't do anything.
