I don't care. She still said it, and after saying again the world will never end it would come near my understanding she still thought Stitch would save the day.

I said "I wonder why Tink hasn't responded", and then she comes back continuing to say the world will never end. After being told many times, she still doesn't get it.

Does anyone have a picture of what the calender of what everyone says the world will come to a end? (Like where it started, I heard something about a Maya calender?)

I don't have a picture of the mayan calendar but you could probably just google it.

The only thing that seems good about the whole 2012 thing is the movie they're making because of all the buzz.

Here's something I found out; the descendents of the Maya, some of whom still practice some of their beliefs, including the use of the Long Calender, don't even believe this! I mean if there was any 'end of the world' prediction by the Mayas, wouldn't the people that have followed their ways and still follow their calender be the ones most likely to believe it? The simple fact they don't tells me the Mayas had no prediction of the end of the world on that date in their mythology.

Another intresting fact, there are even Mayan 'predictions' that predict events AFTER 2012, so thus if the world ends on 2012, there wouldn't be any more predictions.

I still stand by my original prediction, December 21, 2012, the people that truely believe this will do whatever they've ever wanted on that night, believing the world will end and thus they won't suffer reprocosions, then the next day, when the world hasn't ended, they realize "Oh crap, I'm in trouble!" and probably get in trouble, then after the media has thrown a circus over it and it calms down, we'll all laugh at how we reacted and move on with our lives.

This whole topic seems to be riding a fine line between what is allowed on this site. Regardless from what side your from whether you believe it will happen or not it is still unprove spectulative nonsense. Will the sun eventually explode the answer is yes but by the time it happens I will be long dead and I won't care then. Personally if your so paranoid over this ignore what everyone is telling you about this 2012 Mayan Doomsday stuff. The Mayans never predicted the world will end that is a purely western thing that we as a culture have added to it. As for the predictions of Nostradomus his writings are vague and can allow for many different types of interpretations. So I am not going to be looking at the clock on December 21st, 2012 and wait till the world will supposedly end. So far all doomsday predictions made by anyone from the many sects of Christianity like the Evangelicals to Jehovahs Witness, etc. Have proven to be false.
