What mattered was that they were there to help. I'm well aware of that. My point was that when people say that Kodi was all about his job and nothing else whatsoever, "was" is the operative word there. But if they say that he would have continued to be that way after the movie, they're "not thinking fourth-dimensionally" as Doc Brown would say. Time is a crucial factor in virtually everything- Gollum's riddle can tell you that. To ignore something that "gnaws iron, bites steel, grinds hard stones to meal" and basically destroys everything it touches is a very unwise move. Yeah, but Ralph was still fairer game The director intended Ralph and Dusty to have a thing going on and even tried elaborating that with their actions, which were as plain as day. With that you don't even need to think fourth-dimensionally And you know I'm for explaining things not explained in the movie. But when people say its OFFICIAL Dusty and Kodi are together and that there was "solid evidence" they were, its seriously misled XD But just the same, no one's giving Ralph the benefit of the doubt, saying he's "too ugly for Dusty to be interested" or he's "too fat" or he's "a whiner" and are basically only pairing Kodi and Dusty together because they "look good" together, which is the same reason Jenna/Steele fans are getting bashed for Not trying to start a fight. It's just ironic how that works. My main focus is Ralph not being given a chance.

It's just ironic how that works. My main focus is Ralph not being given a chance. I'm aware of that, but all I'm trying to say there is that those who think Kodi is too job-obsessed for a relationship are being rather short-sighted, that's all. As for solid evidence, I do not recall ever having stated that. Nor have I said that Kodi and Dusty are official by any means. Concerning Ralph, I agree he is often overlooked. But you're wrong about my reasons for pairing Kodi and Dusty (although I'm not about to speak for all fans of the pair), as well as the matter of those who "bash" Jenna/Steele fans. With them, it's not about looks. Jenna is with Balto, plain and simple. Even before it was nailed down that she was, it was obvious she had contempt for Steele's ego. Kodi and Dusty, on the other hand, do have the potential to form a strong connection. And whereas Jenna is now, for want of a better word, "married" to Balto, Dusty is (last I checked) single. Now, that's not to say that she couldn't choose Ralph, which she is perfectly free to do. But as a student of psychology I think it's safe to say that she could just as easily go for Kodi as for Ralph. And from a purely subjective standpoint, I find it far more effective to have her do so in my fanfiction. Now, that's not to say I only go for KodixDusty stories. I read RalphxDusty ones too, albeit that they are few and far between. And I would be just as happy to see someone make up a girl for Ralph as I would be if they did so for Kodi (as I have seen some do). As long as it's tasteful, I can deal.

Much as I support Kodi/Dusty, it looks like this thread will become a flame war between Kodi/Dusty fans and Dusty/Ralph fans.
So: *Pulls out violin and plays Nearer my God to Thee*

So: *Pulls out violin and plays Nearer my God to Thee* I think it's safe to say that's not the case, unless some "allergic dragon" (my fancy way of saying "shock-jock" or "flame-happy lunatic") comes on. It's been fairly civilized so far, and let's be honest here. I' not trying to diss anyone, but catwhohas14tails and I are about as different (on issues which need not be brought up here or there probably will be a flame war) as any two people can be, so if we can discuss something politely then practically anyone can.
