Rochelle looked up at him and smiled. "...Backwards..You are."

Shane smirked. "Nah, i always get up this early. It's nice and quiet." He sighed.

Rochelle nodded in agreement, then sniffed at the air. "Mornin smells nice.."

Shane smiled down at Rochelle. "Ya know Chelle, I think we'd be good friends." he winked, and chuckled.

Rochelle thumped the ground with her fluffy tail. "I think." she stated simply. "We're already friends."

Shane put his paw around Rochelle and pulled her against his hip. "Yes, good friends." He looked down at her, licking the tips of her ears again.

Rochelle giggled and leaned against the older male, looking up at him, smiling.

Shane smiled down at her, and sighed wondering how all the pups would look grown up.

Rochelle looked up at the sky, watching the birds that flew over heard.

Shane watched the treeline intensley, as if picturing something. Every couple minutes he would look down at Rochelle.

Rochelle wagged her tail periodically, liking both the calmness and the company.

Reed stirred, and shook himself awake, then gazing at the too in the entrance of the cave.

Rochelle sat quietly, quite content with her company.

Reed stood and walked over to where the two sat, and bumped Shane lightly in the neck with his muzzle.

Rochelle perked and looked over at Reed when he walked over.
