The creature stopped wriggling in Kyler's hands, and she gently pulled it off of Damien's hand. Then, she wrinkled her nose in disgust and dropped it. Then she went to Damien. "Geez, are you okay?" she asked, extremely concerned. "Are you bleeding?" Her arm was gushing itself, but it didn't matter to her at the moment.

"It can't be that bad, I'm more worried about your hand." Kyler defended, her fingers still trailing over her torn skin. Suddenly, her hand moved underneath to the more delicate side of her arm, and she felt deep ruts in her skin, and her eyes went wide.

"O-okay.." Kyler agreed, just now realizing how much her arm hurt. She walked toward the light that lead out of the cave, feeling her eyelids get a little heavier.

Kyler glanced down at her arm and her eyes widened even more, finally seeing it in the light. There were long claw marks from the animal all the way down, some crossing over each other and her whole forearm was covered in red. Her breath hitched in her throat as she raised it a little for him to see, holding back her sleeve that had been torn to ribbons.

Kyler shook her head quickly. "Don't be sorry, it's not your fault." she assured as she pressed the strips of Damien's shirt onto her arm to soak up the blood. The fabric grew darker with the contact of liquid and Kyler gulped.
