"I know" snapped Dante,starting to get irritated that evryone was assuming he'd kidnapped her. The police had even tried to get a social worker to investigate his family when he'd said he didnt ave parents.

Kaien shrugged

"Makes me wonder why she broke up with you, when she.....well, its not my place to say." Julia cut herself off berfore she said anything that Samantha didn't want her to do.

"Your not very talkative are you? Kinda like Dante." sighed Sam unhappily. "I wish it didn't have to happen." another tear ran down her face.

"Sam, Youd ecide your destiny,noone else" Said kaien "Have you been listening to Raven?"

Sam looked down, not looking at him. "No." said Sam, fiddling with a starnd of her hair.

Julia sighed." I have to show you something Dante. I took this out of sams bedroom before the police got here in case it pionted the finger at you." Said Julia, she went to her bedside table and opened a safe that was there. She took a book out and went back to where Dante was stood.

"well, If you ahve don't take them too seriouslY" he said "His visions are erratic at best, he isnt fully ready to use his third release as a defense,nevermind a weapon"


Dante glanced down at it "What is it?"

Sam frowned. "He said i was going to die." she whispered.

Julia handed it to him the book. Inside where pictures of Dante, with times and dates underneath. "She's been catoulogging you sinse friday. She took pictures of you so that in the future she could remember you. The last entry was yesterday morning, when you were talking to a some girl. She has defaced the girl." sid julia, pionting.

"O" said Dante while his brain kicked in "Crap"

Kaien just laughed "Raven always did have a flair for the dramatic"

"Dante, i know what i think, but not you, so tell me." pleeded Julia.

Sam sat, looking up at the skie and wondering what will be happening at home, and what dante was thinking.

"I think..." said Dante "i think...I need to talk to Kaien..." he stared out of the window for a second.

Kaien Looked towards teh town "Sam...How-how was everyone?"

"Who? and your not leaving this house. the police and i will not let you." siad Julia.

"Well, Rosy is sarcastic and an all round strangely happy nearly teenager, Yosana hates me and was grumpy and Raven and Dante seemed surprised to see her, Raven of course nearly died, has become apprentice to Thorn though he seems ok, and Dantes been trying to kill himself continually but i would know how he has been alot because normally i was ether unconcios, in a coma, or to caught up in something to notice how he has been." ratteled of Sam as if she had rehearsed it just for the occasion.

Kaien sighed "I miss so much" he said, He ran his hand back through his thick red hair "You don't realise what you have till you lose it"

Julia threw the book on to her bad and toook hold of dante by the arms. She shook him back and furth. "Who is kaien? will he help us find Samantha? Is this at all related to Samanthas disapearence?!" she asked, tears running down her face creating rivers, desperation in her eyes.

"I know what you mean, except i thought that i couldn't live with out my thing, turns out i can just with alot of pain." sighed sam."Why cant you see them again? Just cos you got thrown outta the pack doesn't mean you cant see them. You could e4nd them letters and get them to meet you out side the packs boundries." said Sam, not wanting him to be sad, more because he was part of dantes family than anything.

Kaien shook his head "It's simpler this way" he said "My feelings don't matter, so long as theyre safe"

"Kaiens my brotehr" said Dante "And I dont know!"

"Your feelings do matter! I know your family are important to you but dont you think that they would be happyer knowing what happened to their brother? Dante has already lost alot of his family, and i know losing you as part of his family, not knowing where you went or what happenede to you kills him inside. None of this is good, you feel unhappy and they do to, and when you lose4 something close to you, its like you die inside. So if you think they are better of with out you, you are mad." raged sam, fury in her eyes. "I cant listen to you any more. I dont understand how you can walk away from your family and just think that that is it. You were just telling me that i make my own fate, that i should do things even if it looks like nothing good is going to come out of it, just to try it, just to do it and see. You should be looking in a mirror when you say that, not to some one else when you aren't doing it any way." said Sam, her throat closing up with emotion. She turned and ran further into he forest. When she was far enough away she sat down, closing her eyes and willing sleep to come, just for a break from life.

"Why do you have to see him then? AND WHAT ARE YOUR THOUGHTS ON THAT BOOK?!" asked Julia. She collapsed on her bed. "I showed you that book because i thought you could give me your veiws on it, i needed another mind in on that. i couldn't take it to the police and i could show it to my friends. I needed some one to tell me.....just tell me something! Anything! i just need a second opinion." cried Julia into her hands.

Kaien stared after her "You don't knwo anythinG" he snarled, Even though he knew she culdnt hear, His eyes blured with unshed tears.It felt weird, He hadnt cried for years, "You don't know anything about my family, i've lived my life, I've made mistakes but so has anyone else. I can't ever go back to the wa I was though"

Dante stared down at her "I'm sorry" he said quietly "I'm sorry I brought this on your family, As soon as this is over I'll leave. I promise I won't cause any more trouble for you" he said "And as for that book...I dont know what i think"
