Riley worked on Arthur's wound frantically, dabbing towels over his cut to draw the blood away.

((OooOoOOoO Idea!! Ian should kidnap Nico and be like "I'll give you Nico, if you give me Kat" x3 ))

Arthur cringed and Alfred looked around, noticing the baby had been awfully quiet the whole time.
"Um, Arthur? I think Nico..is..like..gone." That Made arthur snap up and frantically look around, although he couldn't see naything but the red blood in his eye.

Riley snapped up too.
"Oh God...You don't think..." Her voice trailed off when she saw Ian standing at the door way, a knife pressed to Nico's soft neck. Nico fussed in his arms, not understanding what exactly was going on, but not liking the knife at his throat.

Kat looked at Ian wide-eyed. He wouldn't kill a baby, would he?

"IAN. Put. My. Kid. DOWN." Arthur snarled icily, his whole body stiff as he watched the evil smirk on his brother's face.
"You give me Kat and I'll let him go." Ian spat back, making Arthur inch forward, before Alfred grabbed his arm.

Kat’s breathing caught when he demanded for her in exchange for Nico. She didn’t even know the kid, but she had a feeling that Ian was drunk enough and crazy enough to kill him. Kat swallowed her fear and took a step forward, before anyone could stop her. She took another step, her eyes glistening with fear.
“Okay Ian, you’ve got me. You get what you wanted…” Kat muttered, her arms stiff at her side.

"Kat!" Arthur and Alfred gasped at the same time. "You can't go with him!" Alfred cried, grabbing her in a backwards hug. "I=I just got you back.." Arthur frowned, and when his vision cleared up, he saw the terror in his young son's eyes.
"Ian..Please. You don't know what your do-"
"Yes i DO! Give me her!"

Kat felt Alfred wrap his arms around her and she wavered. But she couldn’t let Ian have that baby, she worked with kids too much to let Nico die. Kat gripped Alfred’s hand and gave it a good squeeze. She looked back at him, her eyes filled with sadness.
“I can’t let Ian take Nico’s life…I can’t live with that guilt Alfred…” Kat said in a low voice. She shrugged Alfred off of her and took another step in Ian’s direction.
“You…” She swallowed “You got me Ian… Not put the kid down…” She said in a calm voice, though it wavered and cracked.

Alfred whimpered, he'd lost here again. AGAIN. Ian smirked evilly and set the kid down on the couch, where Nico crawled to the other side, farthest from Ian. Once nico was out of Ian's arms Arthur snapped out a gun that Ian had left on the counter and shot his brother in the shoulder.
"Get out of my da** house." He snarled.

((Yay!!! No it's fine(; ))

Kat watched a bullet embeded itself into Ian's shoulder. She faltered, unsure if she should be overjoyed or upset. Sure, Ian was a monster, but she loved him. She loved the way he used to protect her, and how he knew her so well. Kat took a few steps back, she bumped into Alfred and jumped.

Riley gathered Nico and ran back.

Ian growled, whipping out a gun of his own.
"Not without her." He replied. Arthur flipping the dining room table onto it's side and shoved everyone down behind it as Ian fired at them. Arthur shot Ian again, after getting shot on his left arm.

“This. Is. Crazy!” Kat cried, curling close to the table and squeezing her eyes shut. She didn’t want anyone getting hurt over her.
“Arthur, just let me go, I can end this. I don’t want anyone getting hurt!” She yelled over the gunfire. Riley had curled herself around Nico, whimpering and sobbing. Kat looked around the room; she actually loved these people, even if she hardly knew them. Her fingers traced the tile and she stood slowly, if she got shot, she got shot. But no bullets got her. She looked down at Arthur, Alfred, Riley and Nico, tears thick in her eyes.

((OMG!!! I think I’m gonna kill Kat off xD Idk though cuz’ I like her character, but wouldn’t that be EPIC!!))

Arthur stood too soon to try and grab Kat, and was shot in the stomach. He fell backwards with a yelp. Alfred gasped and grabbed the gun, and shot at Ian.

Kat squeaked when Arthur was shot. She wavered and looked over at Ian, who was aiming at Alfred.

Ian aimed at Alfred, and shot blindly, opening his eyes to see Alfred's eyes widened in shock and Kat on the floor.
"BAS**RD!!" Alfred snarled, shooting Ian in the head.

Kat didn't expect it, she didn't see it coming. She looked over her shoulder to see a flash of white fallowed by a searing pain in he chest. She fell to the floor and felt a pressure on her chest, like a bag of bricks had been placed onit. White hot pain rested where her heart was. Her vision spun and blurred and danced infront of her eyes. She felt numb all over, but the pain still pressed through. Kat gasped for breath, but felt her vision slipping, out of her grasp. Tears flooded her eyes, she couldn't die. Not like this. Kat clawed the tile in desperation to hang on.

((Mmm, maybe she'll ALMOST die(; I like her too much to kill her. How about she dies for a few moments and then Alfred revives her?))
