Cody said "Show your respect, Shay. He is the one I was talking about before he knocked."

Alexander smiled at Shay and said "You must be the good mate of Cody's. I have heard all about you and your father. Bad kid, that one is. Almost as bad as my brother. So, these must be your kids." He came closer and smiled at Emery and Alex.

Cody smiled and said "Alex, my son, this is your ancestor, Alexander."

Alex's eyes widened and said "Let me down, mom. Please."

Alex walked up to Alexander and Alexander picked up Alex. He smiled at Alex and said "How are you doing, Alex?"

Alex smiled and said "I am good. Thank you for coming. How come you are so powerful?"

Alexander said "Because I am old and have experience. I was born where your worst nightmares were real but they were pathetic compared to the real bad guys back then. But they all passed away except the really powerful ones, except for my brother. And because I was raised with a gentle, kind, and nice father but I had a devil as a mother. I had been taught by both of them and became stronger than both but you and your sister will become even more stronger than I am if you are raised properly by your mother and father."

Alex's eyes grew wide and said "How is that possible sir?"

Alexander smiled and said "Because you have my blood and my brother's blood inside you and both of our strengths in you and your sister."

Alexander looked up at Shay and smiled sadly "My brother was a vampire. Take meaning into the was part." He sighed very sadly.

Alexander said "You are just like my mate was. I miss her and I will still miss her until my dying day which may never come. Because look. My brother was a vampire and he fell in love with my mate who fell in love with me and me with her. My brother became jealous of us and his jealousy became hatred of me and my mate. In his hatred he killed my mate and in turn I spent about ten thousand years hunting him down and finally finding him 2400 years ago. Once I found him, I killed my brother in my hatred of him but he fathered a child and I couldn't kill the child. The child was a boy and he fathered the beautiful girl that is before me and she mothered these two cute angels that I see before me. I really crave to have children again but I never will have children again because my mate is dead. It is a curse. And you, young Shay, are related to me through your mother. Your mother is my daughter's daughter's daughter's daughter's daughter's daughter."

Alexander smiled and said "No one does expect to be related to me. You should have seen Cody when I told him."

Alexander smiled and said "Yes. But you have to think. Everybody is related to everybody. You two are related only through me and my mate and us only. And that's tracing your bloodlines all the way to the beginning. So, you guys are related but it's not like a close relation because look at your perfectly normal children if you two were related enough to gross you out then it would effect your children and make them deformed and I didn't see or sense any deformation in your children. So, it's perfectly okay. And don't forget love is blind. It takes no heed of species or gender. So, even if it grossed you out it won't stop you from loving him. Trust me. I fell in love again but I will never love him more than my mate."
