Kat's dreams were filled with terror, she dreamt a man was holding her throat, choking her while a loaded gun was being pressed to her temple. Kat screamed and shot up, dissorianted and in pain.
"No! Leave me alone!" She screamed, sitting up and holding her throat. She panted heavily and felt herself shake even more. She couldn't stop shaking, as much as she wanted too, her body wouldn't respond to her.

Riley nodded, "Yeah..." She agreed.

Ian sat up, looking at her with curiosity.
"Slept longer than I thought." He noted, scratching the back of his neck.

Arthur smiled and kissed Riley's nose.
"Alright, let's not make this a bad day." Henhuffed, standing and walking over to Alfred.
"Common perk up Alfie, dinner needs to be made!"

Kat panted heavily, the feeling of the cold gun still imprinted in her mind. She looked at Ian and scowled, he'd drugged her with sleep meds when she clearly didn't want to sleep. Kat brought her knees to her chest and felt a flush of goosebumps override her skin. She rubbed her arms to warm them and blew into her hands. Kat didn't want to talk to Ian.

Riley giggled and nodded "Yeah...Dinner...Come on Alfie, let's get some food out" Riley chimed pulled Alfred up.

Ian frowned, standing. "I'll go see when dinner will be ready." He said, walking upstairs.

Alfred stood solemnly, and trudged over to the sink, to wash his hands, and began cooking.

Kat watched Ian walk upstairs and frowned when she couldn’t see him anymore. What if one of those FBI people came to get her? How would she protect herself? She was safe. She just had to keep telling herself that. The incident that happened this morning wasn’t real. If she told herself that enough times them she’d believe it. If she lied to herself enough then she would believe anything. Kat swung her legs over the couch and looked at the carpet in front of her. She jumped at every little sound.

Riley noticed Alfred’s silence and couldn’t help but feel bad.

Ian opened the latch to the basement and stepped up, pushing the carpet back over the secret door.
"Folks. When's dinner?" He asked, feigning politeness. Arthur stiffened and glared at his brother.
"For us it's soon. For you, gee, i dont know." Arthur replied cockily. "You remember our agreement, i dont have to give you anything but shelter. That's what im doing." Ian huffed, and tightened his fists.
"Fine. I'll go get my own food."

Kat felt her stomach twist and groan, she was hungry. Kat stood up slowly, she smelt food upstairs. Surly Riley could spare her a bite to eat? If they were feeding Ian, they’d feed her as well, right? Kat walked upstairs and opened the latch then concealed it like told. She walked into the kitchen; the smell of food had increased. Kat leaned against the door frame and looked at the food cooking. Her stomach growled loudly but she didn’t say a word.

Ian walked out the door without noticing Kat. Arthur huffed and then turned to see Kat, he coudln't possibly keep food from her..He'd been the same way. Once, he'd spare her.
"Kat, you sound hungry. Alfred's making dinner, so it'll be ready soon."

Kat nodded and was slightly hurt that Ian would just walk past her. What was she to him? Nothing? No one worth a glance? Kat frowned and hung at the doorway, standing quietly and looking from Riley to Alfred. She felt another stab of pain when she saw Alfred, how could she hurt him? Why did she ever leave him? Why? Kat bit back a sob and Riley walked over to her.
"You look a little pale, here, have some tea." Riley said, folding a cup into Kat's hands. Kat nodded again and sipped the bevrage slowly. She felt herself slowly relaxe.

Seeing Kat's confusion Arthur quickly tried to stop her from getting sadder.
"He's mad. Just at me, dont think anything of it. bas**rd." Arthur growled the last part, and Alfred turned, his blue eyes locked on the floor.
"Food's ready." He mumbled, setting down some plates on the table.

Kat felt a shudder work up her spine at Alfred's voice. She get so bad for hurting him. Ian was a mistake, she wanted to stay with Alfred. Kay sat down slowly, mulling over Arthur's words and frowning.

Alfred's eyes barely flicked up and met with Kat's, before he began eating. Arthur pulled up a chair and sat down beside Alfred.

Kat felt a rip of regret spiral up her back when Thier eyes connected. Two crystal pools locked for mere second that felt like an eternity. Both eyes showed pain, both showed regret. Alfred's eyes regretted ever meeting Kat, while her eyes regretted ever leaving him. Kat reached blindly For her fork, her eyes still on Alfred, who was now seemingly focused on his dinner. Ian was out, he'd gone out to go eat. If Kat wanted to say something, the best time would be now.
"Alfred.. I miss you... I'm so scared..." she said quickly. Kat had wanted to say something less seriuos, maybe a 'hey, pass the ketchup?' or 'this food is great!'. But she hadn't, and now the words hung icily in the air like A snow storm about to touch down. Kat balled her fists at her sides and let out a controlled breath. She regretted saying that, what if Ian found out? What if Alfred broke down. Kat thought about standing, readying herself to bolt. But she didn't. She stabbed whatever food was laying infront of her and stuffed it in her mouth. The food scolded her throat and she winced, she hadn't even tasted it. Kat felt her stomach twist as the hot food made it way to her stomach and she surpressed a moan. Her eyes darted to Riley who was staring wide-eyed at her, not believing she had just said what she did.

Arthur smirked slightly, continuing to eat.
"And the truth comes out.." He mumbled, glancing at Alfred who had just about dropped his fork.
"oh.." Was all the american replied, although you could practically see excitement radiating off of him. Arthur smiled again, and elbowed Alfred, reminding him to breath.

Kat looked at him and frowned. She wanted to trace her fingers over his jaw line and kiss his lips again.
"Did you think that I... Didn't miss you?" she asked, slightly worried about the answer. Of course shed missed him! Why would he think otherwise?
