"Human turned Pokemon like us are immuned, not only can we cure other Pokemon, we can heal them before they succumb, then they can heal others," he said. "Riolu has the same ability as you now because you healed her. She's immune so you and her can both cure or heal. So can I. I've already managed to make my whole team immune when we got attacked by one of the infected in a dungeon, so they're working back home," he said. "You need to find those infected and cure them to spread the immunity. If REAPR is spreading, then you need to spread the immunity, understand?"

"Don't worry kid," said Empoleon. "I'm sure that you can rise to the occasion," he said, patting Buizel on the back, but then cringed, having a splitting headache suddenly.

"A Dimensional Scream..." said Empoleon before freezing up as he had a vision.

Empoleon shook his head as he came out of the trance. "Ugh...it's a special ability I have. Touching people and objects sometimes triggers it. It lets me sense the vibrations through time, I see and hear things from the past or future of what I touched. Can't really control it."

"It comes in handy," said Empoleon. He then smiled. "Don't want to spoil it, but you'll be getting much stronger than you are now.

"I'd be fine with that," said Empoleon. "Better have you as my Rival than Team Skull, those guys were jerks."

Empoleon waved. "Alright. Oh, and if a team of a Skuntank, Koffing, and Zubat shows up at the tournament, watch out for the Skuntank, he's really tough!" he warned, knowing Team Skull was still around, trying to get stuff whenever they could.

"Yeah, but later," said Empoleon. "Your team is waiting for you."
