"Dante never was one for talking" noted Kaien "What brings you all the way out here anyway?"

Sam grew quite. "Running away from him." she said finally.

Kaien looked at her for a minute "Sam, Is there a problen between you adn Dante?" he asked finally.

"How'd you know there was something going on between me and Dante? and how'd you know my name? have you been spieing on your family?" asked Sam

Kaien chuckled sligtly "The label of your jackets labels sticking out of the bottom with your name written on it. and the way you talk about im makes it obvious"

Sam glaned down. "Oh yeah." sam said, Then she sighed. "Yeah, somethings gone wrong and is all my fault. I miss him terribly. I just beat up a girl for touching him." sam informed Kiaen. "At least i got my first release bck."

Kaien nodded "What ahppened?" he asked

Sam grew silent but finally answered. "I loved him too much. i loved him so much i had to let him go." said Sam, tears rolling down her face.

iro Looked at her for a minute "Sam,Do you let yourself cry often?"

"Not unless something really upsets me, and even then its normally when i'm locked away in my room. I've been crying alot latly though" siad Sam. "Why?"

Kaien shrugged "I dunno, It's something my mom always used to ask if I was upset" he said "Never made me feel any better either"

Sam laughed. Then she sighed. then she looked at him."what was your mother like?" she asked. "Dante never told me. Ether he didn't remember or he didn't want me to know."

"She was...sweet I suppose" said Kaien, seeming slightly reluctant.

Sam smiled at him. "If you dont want me to know thats ok. Just tell me. If i were you i wouldn't want to..." sid Sam, her throught closing up with emotion at the thought of her mother.

Kaien gave a weak smiled "i don't like dwelling on the past"
