Cody bit into his lip because of the pain that was circulating the room and continued until he could see the pups, the dead one and the living one. He quickly poured the acid on the dead one and didn't get any on the living one. The dead one dissolved and the acid went into Shay's skin and the skin absorbed the remaining acid. Cody got his hand out and ripped his free arm open and poured a lot of blood in the wound, healing it immediately. He kissed Shay's forehead and whispered into Shay's ear "It's done, Shay. I am sorry it hurt so bad. I did something illegal in doing this. It's illegal for werewolves but I did it for us, you, our pup, and myself."

Cody lowered his head and whimpered. He said "Don't be. I'm the one that's sorry."

Cody whimpered and said "I had to fight Brother Wolf in what we did and that's why it's illegal in doing what I did. You see, our wolves go into killing frenzies when they see and smell blood. It was so hard to fight him but I did and I won only because of our love. I love you, Shay. And it's worth both of our pain."

Cody nuzzled Shay very lovingly and licked her muzzle. He grabbed Shay's paw-like hand lovingly and held it.

Cody placed Shay's hands on his heart and kissed Shay. He, then, placed her hands on her stomach and walked over to his chair. He sat down and propped up the chair. He stared at the ceiling and sighed.

Cody sighed again and said "I am alright. Go back to sleep. Sorry for bugging you." He continued starring at the ceiling sadly, thinking of his life before he met Shay. It was so simple but it isn't anymore. It's always complicated.

Cody sighed and said "Okay." He sent images of his past life that was filled with carelessness and simplicity to Shay and, then, he sent images of is life now that was filled with worry and carefulness and complications. He sighed again, thinking of his past and shook his head sadly.
