When Simon tackled her, she fell back onto her back. She chuckled and licked his face, her tail wagging a bit.

Simon yipped with excitement as he sat on her chest, looking down at her, wagging his tail.
"Simoon." Shenan, the tomboy pup, called from her spot with her brother Morticai and the twins. "Come over here. Play with us!"

Halina chuckled, "Go on Simon... go play with your siblings," she said pushing him off lightly.

Simon looked over at Shenan. "You come play with us!" he exclaimed. "She's nice!"
But Shenan didn't budge, and because she didn't come forward, none of the other pups did.

Halina sighed and set Simon off her chest, and slowly got up. She then walked over to them, and crouched down to their level, "It's okay..." she said slowly and softly.

Shenan bared her small puppy teeth. The other pups moved behind Shenan, their obvious leader.

Halina pushed her head back at the pups little teeth, "I guess I should leave these ones alone, Guess they don't trust me," she said heading back to Simon.

"Shut up Simon!" Shenan barked back with her snappy attitude.

Halina chuckled, "Oh like Volta?" she asked, but she was n't thinking straight, the pups wouldn't know about volta. Unless her mother told her about them.
