Arthur shrugged.
"Slightly more properly trained, but yes. And he was assigned to kill me a few years ago." He answered weakly. 

Ian looked over to Kat and sighed.
"Theyre not going to find you here Kat. Trust me." He said calmly, pulling the corners of his lips up in a weak smile. 

Riley faltered a stern why on her face. She walked over to him and ran her fingers along his eye brow, playful but catious.
"Why? Who did he kill now? What's wrong with Kat?" She asked in a low voice.

Kat flicked a glance at Ian quickly but then looked back right ahead of her. She wouldn't believe him, not when they had taken her for a few minuets. Not when she knew they could get her.

Arthur sighed, taking her hand away softly.
"Ian won't tell me. Im not supposed to know about his job in the first place. An I'm guessing Kat was in the way, and they saw she was a weakness to Ian, so they tried to take her?" Arthur sighed, leaning back.

Ian huffed.
"Kat. They have never found me here. Please, go to sleep."

"Poor girl, she must be paralyzed with fear..." Riley said thoughtfully.

Kat shook her head stiffly. She wouldn't go to sleep, she'd never go to sleep ever again.

Arthur nodded. "I can honestly say I'd never been more terrified in my life when I woke up to find three dead bodies next to me and a gun in my face." Arthur said shakily, shivering.

Ian walked over to Kat and sat down next to her, pulling her into his lap.
"Katherine.." He purred, kissing her gently.

Kat pulled away weakly and looked at her hands. She still shivered, uncontrollably now. She couldn't handel the fear, she couldn't take it.

Riley frowned "Aw..That's so sad..." She murmured.

Ian sighed, pulling out a small bottle. "Drink this, it'll help." Ian said quietly, pushing the small thing into her hands.

Arthur smiled slightly.
"A word for it I guess could be sad. I would say more of a terrifying event, but oh well." He joked with a shrug.

Riley nodded, "Yeah, I can't even begin to imagine the fear she'd going through...Why would she even be with Ian?! She KNEW he was bad, I saw it in her eyes when he came. She knew he was a bad choise, and yet she allowed him to take her. It's her fault" Riley decided.

Kat took the small bottle in her hands and looked at it. She wanted to ask what it did, but she was too afraid to use her voice. Kat sipped it down, the stuff tasted bitter. But soon she felt her eye lids droop and she swayed. It was a cold syrup type thing! She was falling asleep. Feeling thick panic, Kat gripped Ian's arm tightly and stared at him with fearful eyes don't let me fall aseep! her eyes begged I need to stay awake! but she felt herself slipping, slowly, slipping into a tired haze.

Ian carefully lay her head down and kissed her lightly.
"Sleep Katherine.." He cooed, before smiling as she fell asleep.

Arthur nodded. "I tried to tell her that Alfred needed her that..they were like a perfect match, but no, she wouldn't listen. This mess she's in, is all he own fault-" Arthur agreed, looking sadly at Alfred.

Kat wanted to scream at Ian for allowing her to sleep. She focused on gripping his arm, trying to keep herself awake, but then slipped into a uneasy sleep. She whimpered in her sleep, unable to cloak her actualy fear. Her dreams were laced with terrifying pain and images. Terror filled her heart and she flinched visably in her sleep.

Riley sighed and looked at Alfred "He could keep her safe...He could be her everything...But she'd in too deep with Ian..." Riley agreed sadly.

Ian sighed, walking back upstairs to leav Kat to sleep.
"You two talking about me?" Ian asked raising an eyebrow at them. Arthur looked at his brother and frowned.
"Why couldn't you have let her stay with Alfred?" He demanded.

Kat slept unsoundly for around half and hour.

Riley jutted her chin out a bit and nodded "Yeah Ian, her and Alfred were happy together. If you really loved her, you'd keep her safe and leave her here with Alfred." Riley said, her voice calm.

Ian raised his eyebrows, pulling two guns out of his 'inside shirt pockets'.
"I'd watch your mouth Riley." He said lowly, washing some of his own blood off the weapons. Arthur glared at Ian.
"Dont threaten my wife Iam."

"I was just giving some advise" Riley said with a shrug.

Ian didn't respond, he just set the guns on the counter an went back downstairs.

Arthur huffed, standing up and stretching.
"Like I said a year ago, unpredictable."
