It was only a couple of days later when Nick returned. No more crutches, but still walking with a little limp. He came in quietly, smiling at the familiar cafe, he had longed to come back for those two days.

Nick smiled and got around to a side of the counter, so she wouldn't see him. He then pulled a fresh little rose out of his inner coat pocket. "Hello, Ma'am.." he greeted with a smile, looking much better than he had a few days ago.
