Kodi Girl wrote: Kohaku Zero wrote: New moon: Really dull, even lamer than Twilight. Bella keeps whinning, wanting one thing, and Edward keeps saying no. (If he keeps saying no get it threw your head!) Kohaku Zero- perhaps that's not your style of reading. The reason Edward says he doesn't want her is because he cares for her so much and he's afraid he'll screw up and end up killing her because her scent is so tantalizing. Besides, like any Twilight fan knows, the Volturi cannot have a human knowing about Vampires unless that human dies or becomes one. And obviously you're not a Romantic, because Bella keeps 'whining' because she understands she loves Edward more than life itself. She is at a crossroads in her life when Edward leaves, because she's torn between Jacob and depression, and suicide(On the cliff scene I think she tried to kill herself, or Edward's voice in her head drove her nearly insane). If you are able to look deep, you can see all these things in a book. However, if the book you choose to read is not your taste, then I don't blame you for interpreting it that way. Thank you.Why is that so hard to understand for some people? Seriously. If my love ever left me that way, I'd be awfully depressed too. Having your heart broken isn't nice, idiots. Calling Bella "obsessed" and "whiny" is just ridiculous. I'd like to see how you lot would cope if you ever lost the love of your life like that.

^ Maybe they mean "obsessed" and "whiny" for she's constantly going on about him and how she wants to be a vampire and then doesn't. wolflover10 wrote: I don't mean to start an arguement, but I have no idea how you can say Harry Potter. Agreed. And though I haven't read the Golden Compass series, I've seen the movie and thought it was rather good. Hating twilight is completely understandable though.

In MY eyes, it tells that teenagers need to worship someone and follow them around, and then make a big deal about it when they leave. That's what I think. I can see that people are beginning to be that way as well... I mean, teenagers are famous for being attached to their boyfriends/girlfriends, are they not?

Incredibly annoying. And I hope this isn't too off topic for it's a movie and not a book as far as I know, but it's like in Roadside Romeo. Main character makes friends and has a good life just doin' there thing, then meets a girl. Knew her for like... what... 3 minutes? And she's all he can' think about and when he can't be with her, life suddenly seems not worth living, even though he has friends there and wanting him to stay and help. Now I don't know much about love, but if this is it, then I don't ever want it. -.-

But Twilight started out as a book, so it's not off-topic, because this topic as meant to discuss books anyways. I'm more of the person to avoid lovey relationships as much as possible myself. I mean, Edward and Bella BOTH had their fair share of "friends", family and people who cared about them, and suddenly they act like each other are the only ones that matter in the world. But don't worry, Roi, love doesn't mean meeting someone, getting attached at the hip, then leaving and becoming emo over it. ...At least i hope not.
