Bakari smiled. "I can see what you mean. I think they are perfectly suited for each other, however, it is not up to me whether they become mates, but up to them. King Simba promised to get rid of the betrothal rule and so he did, which is why Queen Kiara became mates with King Kovu even though King Simba didn't like him at first." Bakari paused. "However... I could always speak with both of them, because if they do want to become mates then they'd have to get my permission anyway!"

Radhi saw the boys start to run. "Quick! Let's run after them!" She cried to Kori and the two of them sped off in pursuit. Radhi ran so fast, keeping eyes on Tafari, but when she looked behind to check Kori was still following, she looked back and they had gone. She ran up to Pride Rock.
"Father, have you seen Tafari?" She asked.
Bakari replied, "No, sorry Radhi. But I'll help you search, because I would like to speak to you both."

Radhi followed her adoptive father as they ran to find Tafari. "Tafari!" She called. "Bakari wants to speak to us!"

Soon, Bakari noticed Tafari appear with Kensai. "There you are! Kensai, is it okay to have a word with these two alone, my son?" Kensai nodded and left the three of them alone. "I will see you later Kensai! I would like to speak with you and Taji!"
Bakari looked at Radhi and Tafari, thinking at how perfectly matched they were. "I have noticed that, for some time now, you two have always been together and have developed an interest with each other. I am here to ask you whether you would like to remain together forever."
"You mean, be mates?" Radhi asked.
"Yes Radhi. Would you two like to become mates officially?"
"Yes indeed!" Radhi said with delight, looking into the eyes of Tafari. "Tafari?"

Moto smiled as he heard the news, then watched Bakari walk off to find the two. "I suppose you'll want to start prepping the den for their cubs," he said, sitting down beside Queen Amani. He could barely keep his eyes off the young lives at her paws, and reached a paw towards them. Maliha opened her eyes and swatted her paw at him, and he gave a chuckle. "She's already got some fight," he commented, smiling at the cub.

Tafari's eyes were wide with shock and excitement, Tafari nodded and said ''Yes,I'd love that very much and I'll make sure she doesn't get hurt.'' Tafari said then nuzzled her lovingly. Tafari then looked at Taji waiting for his approval.

Bahati laughed, ''I'm sure King Bakari is probably talking to them right now.'' She said

Kensai nodded at his father already knowing what he wanted to talk about. He sat beside the cave wait ing for his father and brother. He knew how tafari and radhi were so cute together. He sighed

Amani laughed. "Yes, she sure has!" And she nuzzled the cubs in her arms. "Would you like to hold her Moto?"

Bakari was really pleased. "I'll let both your mothers know!" He said.
Taji smiled as well. "You're like my big brother now Tafari!" He said.

Bakari followed the scent of Kensai. He saw him sitting alone. "Kensai, the reason I wanted to speak to you has nothing to do with Tafari or Radhi. This is about me and you. I feel like I have been neglecting you as my son, which is not the way a father behaves, so I would love to get to know you properly." He paused, waiting for a reply but none came. "Also, if we are speaking about love, I think I saw Kori looking at you."
Bakari left Kensai to take in that information. He smiled to himself. He wasn't so busy not to notice the signs of love sickness, described to him by his father because his father (Bakari's grandfather) Chimalsi was also lovesick.

"Sure," he said, laying down next to her. "I must say, first Tafari, Taji, and Radhi, now two more! You must have such a pawful!" he exclaimed, hoping he didn't sound rude to his queen. He curled his paws like the queen did, trying to match it so the cub would be comfortable.

Kensai blinked and then got up following his father "father wait, you've been great to me just like mother and taji and radhi, it's just sometimes I feel like I don't belong, I would love to do more stuff with you" he said smiling "and as for Kori she seems really quiet, she's very pretty"

Amani lifted Maliha into Moto's paws. "Yeah... I'm sure we can cope because everyone here is so friendly and helpful!" She noticed how awake Maliha looked with Moto. "She certainly likes you!"

Bakari turned around. "Thank you Kensai. That means a lot to me! I'll get you tomorrow morning!"

He smiled down at the small cub. "Well, I do need someone to take my place in the future. I think I've found that lioness, if you don't mind," he added, looking over to the queen. His tail swishing around behind him, and his ears pricked forward towards the cub as it gave a mew. He lowered his muzzle, and she swatted it with a paw, catching him by surprise. He gave a chuckle.

Tafari smiled and nudged Taji playfully,''Oh you.'' He snickered a little. Bahati watched little Maliha play with Moto and chuckled,she then looked up and saw King Bakari enter the cave. She smiled,''So how did it go?'' She asked and got up and stretched her tail swished infront of little Alika and the cub mewed and tried to grab her tail and failed at first attempt but she got at the second time which made Bahati gasp and turn around chuckling.

Amani smiled. "You know what, I think you're right Moto." She looked at Maliha as she tried once again to catch Moto's fur with her paws. "She certainly is a little fighter!"

Bakari walked towards Bahati, laughing as Alika catches her tail. "Everything went perfectly to plan. As soon as they become young adults I shall arrange the joining ceremony." He nuzzled Bahati. "I guess that makes us practically family now."
"As if living in a Pride wasn't family enough!" Said Amani, who had started listening in on their conversation.

Bahati smiled,''I guess so.'' and nuzzled him back her eyes then caught her attention of Kensai and smiled, ''I must say Kensai that's going to be a big mane.'' Bahati said referring to his tuft of mane on his chest,shoulders,back,and a large head tuft.

Tafari then returned back to Pride Rock with the biggest smile on his face along with Prince Taji and Princess Radhi who were following him. He nuzzled Queen Amani happily and nuzzled his mother and winked at Kensai. He then looked at Moto,''I'm ready for my lessons Moto.'' Tafari said then watched Maliha swatted at Kensai's head tuft.

Amani couldn't feel anything other than happiness at this moment. Everyone was happy and her family were all united.
Bakari viewed the scene. "Would you like to come out with me now, Kensai?" He asked. "I was just going to patrol the borders."
