Christa turned back around in a flash as she and Chevek heard Akia panting and trying to say something. "More....." Akia stammered. "More...... Hunters!" He said as he caught his breath. "More, hunters. Around the South side of the valley. Headed our way." Chevek growled softly and warned Christa. "Christa, you've been omega before, and you've never had to fight. Now that you're Delta, you'll need to step up the game." Chevek leaped down and picked up Luna. "What's going on?!" "I'm taking you to safety." Chevek replied jumping up the rocks to the den.

He jogged into the den and sat Luna with his pups. "Stay here." Looking out the den he was worried. "Jolie," Jolie was rushing into the den when hearing the ruckus. "Watch the pups, including Luna." Chevek informed her. "Will do." She nodded, and Chevek turned back to his pups. "You kids aren't old enough to fight. If you were, I would let you," Chevek shot his head around a hearing Akia yell again. "But stay here." He looked at his pups then bolted outside. "Akia, what's the status?" "They're getting closer." Akia replied as Chevek heard a wolves howl.

"That's Bulldog!" "What's he doing out there?" Akia asked. "He went out hunting, around the South side of the valley!" Cheyanne yelled. Chevek's eyes widened. "*****!" He snarled. "Why did he go out hunting?" He asked looking at Cheyanne. "We hunt daily, Chevek, no one has been out to hunt so he went out." Cheyanne replied. The pack then jumped back and lowered their body's as they heard rustling in the bush. A wolf jumped over the bush landing on his feet panting. It was Bulldog.


"Glad you made it back safe." Akia said as Bulldog looked back over the bush. "Not yet." "What do you mean?" Chevek asked Bulldog. "The hunters are coming closer." Bulldog panted. "I was just done catching a hare when I saw the hunters coming my way. I hid in the bush as they passed me. Not knowing I was there, I took the short cut here and they kept walking, guns loaded. I'm here and they're getting closer. We'd better prepare." Bulldog said as Chevek nodded. "Move, now!" He told the pack.

Syaoran and Zajiao immediately bolted out of the den, following their alpha's orders, their fur bristled, ears layed back, and fangs bared.

Chevek and the pack heard talking and laughing. "Everyone hush!" Akia bared his teeth. The hunters passed by and Chevek snarled. "Let's go!" He barked and the pack went after them. "Look out Jake!" A hunter yelled. Akia pounced on one of the hunters. Another took aim at Moze who was looking away for another reason. The hunter pulled the trigger and hit the ground. Moze, startled, lunged after him. Three of the hunters dead, two more left. One aimed for Akia who was on top of the other hunter ripping flesh of his arm. He pulled the trigger and hit Akia's leg. Yelping, he fell over and a small puddle began to get bigger around his leg. "AKIA!" Chevek snarled and lunged for the hunter. He pushed him over and snarled, baring his teeth in front of the hunter's face. "BAD idea MOTHER F*****!" Chevek bit his face and locked his jaws.

Syaoran lunged at the second hunter left, locking his jaws on the hunter's neck, while Zajiao ran to Akia's aid.

"Akia! Are you alright?!" Zajiao asked worriedly, licking the wound on Akia's leg to help stop the bleeding.

Then the hunter that Syaoran was fighting pulled out a dagger and stabbed it deep into Syaoran's side. Syaoran yelped in extreme pain, then the hunter tossed and slammed Syaoran to the ground, making him instantly black out.

"SYAORAN!! NOO!!" Zajiao panicked.

Chevek lunged and killed the last hunter. "***** I hate people!" He snarled. "Akia?" He turned his head to his best friend. "You okay?" "Yeah, I'm fine. Just skinned a little flesh off." Akia laughed standing up and running around. "See, all's good." Chevek smiled at him as the two looked over the supposedly "babysitter wolf" of the pack. Chevek trotted over to Syaoran. "You're going to be okay." Chevek looked over at his brother, who was desperately trying to lick the wound, unable as the dagger was left there. "Syaoran, I'm going to count to three, then I'll pull this thing out, alright?" He nodded slowly. "One, two...." Chevek pulled it out grabbing it by the handle and yanking. "Three.." He dropped the dagger and helped lick the wound.

Syaoran is ranked as a fighter too, btw.

Syaoran whinced at the sheer pain of the blade being pulled out of his side. The pain was so intense, but Syaoran held strong as Chevek and Zajiao licked the wound clean.

Ok, and I replied to Texas Balto.

"Oh, good. You're okay..." Chevek smiled.

"Of course I am. I won't go down that easy." Syaoran laughed, struggling back to his feet with Zajiao and Akia's help.

Chevwk smiled. "Well, you're tough wolf, man."

"I'm just doin' my job, Alpha Chevek." Syaoran smiled.

Chevek nodded. "Well, if it weren't for you, when me and Jolie went out hunting I wouldn't have anybody to watch my kids."

Oh, of course! I don't mind at all. But keep in mind, if they have pups they'll be part German Shepherd. My favorite breed of dog of all time.
