Racheal nodded, "Yup." She said and stood up. She grabbed her knife out of her small satchel she was carrying with her and slipped in her sleeve. "Looks like it's time." She said and walked towards the door. Kailen decided he was going to be attending this 'meeting' as well, seeing as though his sister may need him in some way. He followed her out the door, motioning for Rikkes to follow as he hoped he would.

Rikkes sighed, following, feeling like a pawn caught in a hopeless game of chess. He followed close behind, eyes downcast, lost deep in the swirling thoughts of his mind.

Racheal followed Prince Nuada, walking next to him as they talked in this foreign language that she had grown up with. She shook her head after what he said and then an argument ensued between the two. She told him a few things in english and then stopped talking, walking upon a counsle and upon King Balor's presence. Kailen pulled Rikkes over to the side with the other crowd, Racheal and Prince Nuada both bowed as they were supposed to, thoughts swarming in Racheal's mind. King Balor began talking to her about her punishment for coming back. But he spoke in this language that the she and the prince were using. "King Balor I have come back to besto upon you a changed a woman." She said, meeting his eyes. The King and Racheal talked for several more minutes.

Rikkes followed Cailen closely, listening closely, not really able to understand much, but getting the just of the conversation.

King Balor looked at her and rubbed his forehead. He told his guards to brand her, using his language of course. Racheal looked around them as they circled her, furious with the decision he had made. She spewed words off left and right, keeping them away from her by lashing out them. Suddenly 2 guards had each of her arms. She couldn't fight them off. Kailen gripped Rikkes' wrist and leaned over to him, "They're going to brand her." He said before looking at his sister. Racheal kicked the guard ahead of her, screaming at him as the other one grabbed a hot brander. They pulled her shirt over her right shoulder and pressed the hot metal against her skin. The ingraving it left was of the royal seal. Racheal couldn't hold back a scream as tears streamed from her eyes. They let her go as they took the hot brander off of her, Racheal falling to the ground. She was on her hands and knees, her head down. The king dismissed everyone, the crowds beginning to leave. Prince Nuada stepped to Racheal's aid, grabbing her around the waist and pulling her to her feet. From there, Kailen went and claimed his sister from Nuada.

Rikkes balled his hands into fists, narrowing his eyes. "Why?" he asked, this didn't make sense, she hadn't even done anything but come back, and now they were going to brand him.

Kailen shrugged his shoulders as he let Racheal rest under his arm. "I think because the king wanted her to remember where she came from, the debt that she must live for the rest of her life." He said, shaking his head. "The law can be sometimes unfair." He said and sighed. Racheal shook her head, reaching over and grabbing Kailen's sword from it's sheath. She whirled around, slaughtering all the guards, running at each of them with the sword ready before lunging forward and jabbing the sword down into the King's chest. She grabbed her shoulder, pain shooting through her arm. Kailen gasped, everyone around her falling quiet. Racheal turned and began to walk again, she was a very tough girl indeed. The villager woman with two babies looked at her, saying something in the foreign language. Racheal shook her head. "No."

Rikkes watched as she dispatched the guards... and then the king. He shook his head, the girl didn't forgive and forget it seemed. He felt sort of bad for her though, he wanted to help her find some happiness in the world. Least he could do really....

Racheal walked up beside Kailen, pulling her shirt over his shoulder again. "Is it bad?" She asked, trying to force her neck to turn farther so she could see for herself. Kailen shook his head, "Raw." He said, reaching his hand to touch it. Racheal didn't flinch nor turn away, "You touch it and I'll break your fingers." She warned, shaking her head. Kailen nodded, "Okay okay just be easy." He said, pulling her shirt back down. Kailen stood next to Rikkes, "Gosh, she's grouchy." He said, shaking his head. Racheal dissapeared back into the outside crowd, blending in with the people.

"I don't blame her, I would t be too happy if all this was happening to me right now too." Rikkes said, shaking his head, he watched her disappear.

Kailen nodded, looking over at him with a certain look on his face. "You know, you may just be the thing... You may be the key to her happiness." He said looking forward and then back at Rikkes, "Trust me. If you didn't keep her entertained or at least satisfied, you'd be gone by now." He said and shook his head. "I think you should talk to her a bit more, get to know her a little bit. But of course, you do what you feel is right." He said, putting his hands down by his sides. Racheal meanwhile was chewing an apple that she had picked up on one of the carts.

Rikkes nodded, "I'll keep that in mind." he said and started to male his way towards her, he knee that what Kailen was saying was true. If she didn't like him, not in the least bit, he would be dead in a ditch somewhere.

Kailen walked along quietly, not giving no more thought on the matter. He passed Racheal in the crowd and patted her on the shoulder that hadn't been burned, he motioned for her to follow him. He began walking back to his housse, where the maid was cleaning up the house. Racheal yawned bored, walking casually with Kailen. They began talking about the branding and then about how life had been for them over the couple of years. Truth was, Kailen didn't know about Jasper. But he soon would.

Rikkes was disappointed when she walked ahead with her brother, but shrugged it off, wanting to give them their privacy, he decided to walk around and see what he could see.

Kailen looked over his shoulder to see Rikkes wasn't there. He didn't mind it though. He wanted him to go around and see all the beautiful creatures and how dufferent it was down here than in the above world. Racheal kept talking to her brother, wanting him to know all that she had been through. But she would explain Jasper soon enough though.
