Blade sighed, he couldn't sleep, besides, it wasn't late anyway. He got up and took Tink out, he was so very tempted to ride her. He eyed a saddle and shook his head, no, she would most likely unseat him. He looked at the saddle again, the temptation was really too much. He grabbed it, he was glad it wasn't heavy like western saddles, in fact is was only like twenty pounds, rather than like fifty. It was a english saddle, though he preferred Western. He got a pad and bridle and saddled her up. He looked at her and swung onto her back.

John::
He pulled up to his house. Turning off the truck, thanking the farmer's daughter for babysitting on such short notice. John held the door open with his hand, waiting until Tabitha walked in. Tabitha gave him a cross look, 'Who was that?' A friend. He said and looked at the clock. Tabitha shook her head, 'You can do better.' My business. He said and walked to the kitchen, getting dinner ready for his kids. Marleen greeted John with a hug. Tabitha gasped, 'I got a little sister!', she exclaimed happily.

Blade waited, Tink didn't do anything. He was genuinely surprised. He kicked her forward and she took off. He pulled on the reigns and she stopped, he was so surprised by her actions that he flew off her. He landed and jumped to his feet. He looked at her, she walked over to him, he swung back on.

Tabitha::
She picked at the food, soon eating all of it. She took a sip of water before going to the window. She noticed a boy on a horse. I'll be right back, I'm gonna get some fresh air. She said and picked up a book, she walked out onto the porch, where she had full view of the boy(blade). She smiled some and crossed her legs. Opening her book and beginning to read.

Blade rode her in several circles before he noticed the girl. Tink had a really soft mouth, so she responded really well, he kicked her into a trot and rode over to the girl. He didn't really know what to do, he had never really been around girls. He stopped Tink by her. "Greetings." he said, swinging off Tink.

Tabitha::
She looked up from her book and smiled some. Hello. She said, putting her bookmark in the page and shutting the book, sitting it onto her lap. Tabitha looked at the horse, then at the boy. She held out her hand. Tabitha.

Blade stared at her hand for a moment, his mind totally blank, he started to panic, racking his brain, finally he found it, 'oh right, shake' he thought and shook her hand, he smiled, showing off perfect white teeth, "Blade." he said.

Tabitha::
She nodded and after a couple minutes she looked at him and giggled. You can stop shaking my hand now. She said and smiled. She looked at the ground, then at Blade again.

"Oh right." Blade said and let go of her hand, dropping it to his side, he blushed, feeling stupid. He looked at his feet, well, he supposed that had blown it. Tink nosed his shoulder.

Tabitha::
She looked at the ground and thought of something to say. You know what. Your cute. She took his hand and took out a pen, writing her number on his hand. You can call me anytime. She said and sat back.

Blade blushed even deeper, 'well, maybe I haven't blown it...' he thought, he looked at the piece of paper, then realized. "I don't have a cellphone." he said. This made him slightly ashamed, he had just moved in so he had yet to get one was all.

Tabitha::
That's my house number. She said and looked at the door. John was walking outside with Marleen. Tabitha sighed some and tossed her book over. She folded her legs and put her hands in her lap.

John::
Is there a specific reason you don't like me? He asked Tabitha, hands in his pockets. Marleen was clutching a doll. Tabitha ignored the question. Answer? He said, Tabitha didn't look at him again. That's it, inside. He said and opened the door. Tabitha got up and stormed to her room. Drop the attitude. He said as she went to her room. She slammed the door. John shook his head.

Blade nodded, he watched her father come out and her storm inside, he lead Tink around to a tree and climbed up, he saw her inside her room, he smiled and climbed back down, riding Tink home.

Blade heard the light tapping and climbed back up the tree, he read the note and wrinkled his nose, 'I'm sorry.' he mouthed and made a sympathetic face. He didn't want to get her in more trouble though.
