"Yeah. So maybe Kovu could go back to the pridelands and find my mother? She could get most of the lionesses I'm sure." Simba looked at Ahadi then quickly at Kovu, then to Nala. "I tink it will work. Scar isn't very strong either."

Kovu:: This is the pridelands. He said strong, his voice got deeper over the months. The land had been reduced to nothing. Absaloutly no beauty or any sustainable life.

"Well, you know what I mean....go back to Pride Rock. Find my mother, and tell her the plan. It's that easy." He knew Kovu would do it, even though he was just an annoying kid, Simba trusted him.

Kovu::
He rolled his eyes and told Simba's mother. He walked back and just chilled out, he wanted a girlfriend, or girlfriends. He knew all he had to do was find a group of teenage girls and he could get them easily.

Kovu came back to the little group, "Thanks Kovu, I really appreciate it." Simba was great foul for what he did. Even though Kovu didn't want to do it. "I owe you one."

Sarabi had just talked to Kovu. She was happier than she had been for a while. She kept whispering with pride, "Simba is alive!" Kovu had laid the plan out pretty easily, and it made sense. Sarabi found a group of lionesses sleeping in a small area of sun light. They were all younger than her, since Scar killed most of the older lionesses for following Mufasa. She knew they were secretly followers of Mufasa, if she approached the wrong lionesses this could all end badly, but she was sure of this group, Kiara was even laying in the group. She approached and out of habit the lionesses said hello and how are you to the old and true queen. "I have a way out of all of this." the lionesses continued to go over the plan.

Kovu::
He sauntered around, he saw some lionesses and passed by them. They glanced at him but it wasn't who he thought it was. It was Kopa and Vitani's daughter and her sister. Family. Kovu rolled his eyes and walked around.

Simba noticed Kovu's reaction toward some lions near by. He walked over to Kovu and sat down next to him. "Who are they?" Simba felt stupid. He usually stayed away from the Pridelands and didn't know of the new lions. "You don't have to answer that... There are just way more lions here than when I was a kid."

Kovu::
Family. He couldn't believe Vitani even had a mate! She was still a teenager herself, she shouldn't even have a cub! He thought and it angered him. He never liked Kopa.

"Your lucky, Kid. Don't take advantage of family. They could be there one second then gone the next." It brought back memories, bad memories, but memories. Simba shook his head, chasing the memories away. "You will understand when your in love." he said motioning back to the two lions, then smiling at Kovu.

Kovu::
I'd rather have no family. He said meanly with a hint of attitude. He looked at Ahadi and then looked away again. He wanted to keep atleast his grandpa but didn't want his mom, dad, sister, anyone! Something went off inside him, I don't want love! I want to be left alone! He bellowed.

"Calm down, Kovu. It's alright, I understand where your coming from. I've lived the majority of my life feeling like I had no real family, but I learned that you don't have to love your real family, since I didn't really have one. But Timon and Pumba are my family now, and if you want you can join that family, the family of outcasts." Simba hoped this would make Kovu feel better. He looked at Kovu and saw himself, lost and alone.

Kovu::
He paced with a deep growl. So now your calling me an outcast! He looked at Simba with nothing but mixed emotions. He paced more and more but finally sat down, he looked away and sighed.

"No, no, not at all. More like misunderstood. I was misunderstood, not by others, but ny myself. You just seem to be misunderstood by others. You just need to give yourself time, try to find yourself." Simba got up and sat next to Kovu again. He was about a head smaller than Simba, but Simba could only see himself in the eyes of this young lion. Simba knew without help this young lion would turn out like Scar, and he wasn't going to let that happen.

Kovu::
He clamped his jaws shut, squeezing his eyes shut as well, a few tears streaming softly down his cheek. He kept his eyes on the dirt and didn't look up at anyone. All his life had been meaningless to him.

Simba wasn't sure what to do now. He just softly gave Kovu a push with his shoulder. "It's okay, Kovu... Just tell me what your thinking. It feels good to let it out."
