Krystalia clicked her tounge and Sugarfoot sped off. As they silently raced through the forest, Krystalia strung her bow and took aim. She loosed her first two arrows, and Sugarfoot instantly relocated them.

Hobbes admired Kystalia's skill. But, he felt very uncomfortable on Sugarfoot, he liked his own horse better.

Addanc tried to get her horse to go faster, but it stopped in exahustion. "Come on! We have to find Hobbes!" she said. The horse whinnied tiredly in protest.

Balan thought he heard a bow string, but he must've imagined it.

By the time Suarfoot stopped again, Krystalia had restrung her bow and loosed two more arrows before they were off again. Krystalia turned to whisper quietly in Hobbes ear. "I want to weaken him enough before you attack on foot. And I know being on Sugarfoot is uncomfortable for you and I'm sorry. Hold on," Krystalia loosed two arrows right as Sugarfoot stopped and then sped off again. "But I've grown up with him so this is normal for me. As long as you hold on to me, you'll be fine. He won't let me slip so you won't either."

ooc:// I didn't want to monopolize this part of the fight so I was gonna let you decide when he's hit if that's okay.

Hobbes nodded and kept his arms wrapped around her.

Addanc growled in frusteration. She lept off of her horse and sprinted off into the woods.

Balan grunted in pain. An arrow struck him in the shoulder while two wizzed past him. "OUCH!" He yowled in pain.

The cycle of stopping, shooting, and speeding off repeated over and over again. I need to get a few arrows in him before I can let Hobbes fight him on foot. I don't want him to get hurt. I can't guarantee I'll be able to hit the assassin without hitting Hobbes again.

Balan howled in pain as a few more arrows hit him. "I am getting really mad! Cowards! I know you're there! Come on! Fight me!" he screamed.

Hobbes fidgeted. He was aching to fight Balan, he wanted payback for him tackling him off of his horse.

Addanc heard Balan scream.

Krystalia looked at Hobbes with a determined look on her face. "I'm not letting you off this horse while you just wanna go fight for revenge or the sake of fighting. He's an assassin. No many how many arrows I load him up with you'll still lose with that attitude. Anyone would, except for MAYBE my father," she whispered to him. Sugarfoot stopped, and Krystalia loosed two more arrows. "You need to relax and focus. Can you do that?" She asked Hobbes calmly.

Hobbes frowned. "Of course I can be calm." he whispered back.

Addanc saw Balan being attacked, with arrows. Now was her chance. "Balan! Fight like a man! I thought you were an assassin? Now you're going to be assassinated!" she called out from the underbush.

Balan growled. "Addanc...I swear I will kill you!" he howled.

"Alright. Go save Addanc before he kills her," Krystalia whispered to Hobbes. She gave him a quick kiss for good luck and gently pushed him off of Sugarfoot. As her trusty steed sped away, Krystalia drew her dagger. I need to be ready just in case...

Hobbes stood there. He was blushing like crazy, she kissed him. He shook his head, he had to go and help Addanc. He took off toward Balan. "Hey! Balan!" Hobbes called. The man swung around like a bull, his eyes narrowing. "You." He snarled. Hobbes smirked and hefted the sword in his hand. "Me."

Addanc's eyes widened. Hobbes? She came out from the underbrush and hefted her sword aswell. "Balan! I thought you were going to kill me." she taunted.

Balan swung to face Addanc and grinned twistedly. "Oh I am. But first, you're going to watch him die!" Balan snarled and pointed at Hobbes.

Krystalia landed another arrow in the assassin right after he said he would kill Hobbes. You're not gonna hurt him while I'm here... Not a chance... "Sugarfoot, we are most likely gonna be brought home after this; you up for it anyways?" She whispered in his ear. He whinnied and stomped the ground. "Alright! Let's do this!" She told him with excitement and a growing rush of adrenaline.

Hobbes nodded to Addanc, then they both charged at Balan, swords erect. Balan fended off them and stepped back. "Not fair!" he complained and ducked out of Hobbes way. "Sure, and trying to murder a princess is fair." Hobbes growled and slashed at Balan with his sword.

Addanc didn't say anything, just kept slashing and stabbing at Balan. She finally slashed at his leg, and the sword cut right through his flesh, making the wound gush blood.

"OUCH!" Balan yelped, but still parried Hobbes slash.

I'm not going to be much help with only a dagger... And they are too close to him to shoot... They're doing very well... "Any ideas of how we could help them out?" She whispered to Sugarfoot. He watched the battle intensely thinking of a way they and the other animals could contribute. The sparrows had overheard and chirpped to Krystalia before flying towards the battle and taking turns flying close to the assasins head. Wow. Point for the sparrows. Good distraction technique.

Balan swatted at the birds that dive bombed his head. "Get out of here you mangey pests!" he snarled and dropped his gaurd. Hobbes took this opportunity to kick Balan in the chest, sending him sprawling backwards on his back. The wind got knocked out of his and Hobbes planted a foot on his chest and sword point at his throat. Balan gulped his adam's apple not even a centimeter away from the sword point. "Anything you want to say?" Hobbes snarled and pressed his foot harder against Balan's chest. Balan coughed. "W-what are you going to do with me?" he sputtered breathlessly. Hobbes shrugged. "Bring you back to the kingdom. That's where the king will decide your sentence." he replied. Hobbes nodded at Addanc, signaling her to take all his weapons. While Addanc was giving Balan a pat down, Hobbes looked around for Krystalia.

Addanc had all his daggers, knives, and his sword in no time. She luckily had rope with her, so she tied him up tightly in that. "Having fun yet Balan?" she whispered. Balan snarled. "You traitor!" he snarled. "Me? Traitor? It was you who betrayed the kingdom. Not me." she shot back and grabbed Balan by the collar of his tunic. "Get on the horse. The faster we get home, the faster you go." Addanc snarled and pushed him towards her horse.

Balan snarled. "I hate you! You won't get away with this!" Balan snarled. "Get away with what? Justice?" Addanc growled from behind him. She hoisted him on the horse like a dead carcass and slapped his head. "Why did you assassinate that man?" Addanc asked. "Wha-?" Balan started but was cut off by Addanc. "Answer me." she snarled. "I was hired to kill him by his sons." Balan confessed. "Why?" Addanc asked. "I don't know! They didn't tell me their motives!"

Sugarfoot galloped out to Hobbes. Krystalia lept off her horse. "Are you okay? Did you get hurt at all? I brought medical supplies with me... Don't listen to what the other knights say, scars are not all that attractive..." She was checking him over as best she could without touching him since Addanc was there.
