Obsidian Rock:
I jumped off Battle Cry when he was in full gallop. I stabbed two men with that knife and kept getting more and more. I saw Francheska and went after her. My son still fighting the men.
______________

Smiles A Lot swung off Flame and sank to the ground with a grunt. He clutched his shoulder in pain, silent tears of pain streaming down his face. He took a knife from his pocket and stood unsteadily.

Francheska:
I screamed when I saw Obsidian Rock, aiming his knife at me. Just as he was about to stab me, Prince latched onto his leg. I watched in horror as he stabbed my dog in the back and came after me. He put his knife away, he was going to kill me, I could feel it. It was written in his eyes and all over his face.
______________

Smiles A Lot tossed his knife up in down in one hand and threw it, it caught Obsidian Rock in the shoulder.

Obsidian Rock:
I felt the knife go in and I turned around. I gripped my knife and pulled it out of it's holster, jetting it through Smiles-A-Lot's forearm and ripping it about 3 inches down. Leaving a mess. I turned and got Francheska in the shoulder.
______________

Smiles A Lot 'yelped' in pain. His arm hung limply. He stumbled back to his horse.

Obsidian Rock:
I grabbed Smiles-A-Lot and threw him onto the ground. I put my knife to his throat. Time to end this! I drew my arm back and just as I was about to get him in the neck, Francheska jumped on my back. I backed up, trying to get her off I elbowed her in the stomach and she fell. I cut her across the shoulder again and she fell into a corner.
______________

Smiles A Lot struggled to get to his feet again. He grabbed onto Flame's reigns and hoisted himself up.

Obsidian Rock:
I took off outside and got a couple more men, I looked at the bodies and saw one very familiar one. It was another native. It enraged me.
______________

Smiles A Lot pulled himself onto Flame's back. He kicked him, holding his hand out to Francheska.

Francheska:
I was still in the corner, I was terrified that Obsidian Rock would soon come back and finish the job. If I got up there was a chance that he would be standing there, waiting. I was to scared to move.
______________

"Take my hand." Smiles A Lot said in a hard accent, his english bad. He held it out to her.

Francheska:
I didn't look up but I held out my hand weakly and waited. I couldn't believe this happened to me. I had never been attacked by a native before.
______________

Smiles A Lot pulled her up onto Flame behind him. He looked back at her, "Hold onto my waist." he said in his native tongue and kicked his horse forward, escaping from the battle.

Francheska:
Feather! I turned around and yelled to her. She came running after. I watched as Prince took his last steps and whined, before collapsing. I started crying, I loved Prince a lot and it made me hate Obsidian Rock worse and worse.
