Shane licked Nickel's side, rolling him over.
"Can you say somethin' kid? Can ya' say Shane?"

Nickel looked up at Shane at his question. He simply nodded in reply.

"you wanna say it for me..?" Shane asked, smiling honestly.

The pups ears folded back and he quickly got up, sitting up with his ears against his head. His smile faded and he simply looked up at Shane quietly.

Shane smiled again, licking the pup's nose.
"That's alright kiddo, you'll find your voice!"

Radon caught sight of Shane socializing with Nickel and he bounded over.
"Did he talk yet?" Radon huffed.

Egg · **Posted:** Thu Nov 24, 2011 9:40 pm

Shane perked, watching Radon trot over.
"Oh, no not yet..but he will, when the time comes!" Shane insisted.

xWolfPrincex · **Posted:** Thu Nov 24, 2011 9:45 pm

Radon snorted at Nickel. "I never got to hear him!" the pup complained. "Chrome says he did..but no one else did."

Sulphur trotted over, wagging his tail at his siblings.
"Why won't he taaaaalk?" He asked.

xWolfPrincex · **Posted:** Thu Nov 24, 2011 9:56 pm

"He's just stupid. " Radon decided. "He must be. Everyone else can talk!"
Nickel folded his ears back and slunk off into the darkness of the den.
"That's not nice!' Chrome growled. "He does talk! I heard him once!"

Egg · **Posted:** Thu Nov 24, 2011 9:59 pm

"Hey Radon that's not nice do not talk like that to your brother!" Shane huffed, walking over to Nickel, and licking his ears.

xWolfPrincex · **Posted:** Thu Nov 24, 2011 10:21 pm

Nickel just sighed, curling his tail around his paws as he sat down.
"He DID talk." Chrome huffed when Radon doubted that Chrome ever heard Nickel.

Sulphur snuffled Nickel's ear, before nipping at him.
"Common we can all play together! Talking or not!" Shane smiled at the young one's attempt to make peace.

xWolfPrincex · **Posted:** Fri Nov 25, 2011 11:46 am

"Come on and play tag with us Nickel! " Chrome smiled.
Nickel moved away from Sulphur, further back into the den where he shook his head and lay down.

Shane frowned, sighing as the rest of the pups ran off to play.
