Twilight groaned, getting up. "Guys, we got to get them back to their senses!" she called, then put her horn to Spike and began healing him.
Rarity restrained Pinkie Pie as best she could. "Pinkie! You are not like this! Remember how much it hurt to have Discord make you think everypony was laughing at you! Now you are doing that to poor Twilight! That's not you!"
Fluttershy snarled. "I'd have died if it weren't for those butterflies! Everypony knew I couldn't fly well and NOPONY came to help me! But you were my best friend! Did a stupid race matter more to you than I did!"

Rarity snarled slightly. "Pinkie Pie, how would you feel if we all laughed at you then? But we're not going to, you know why?" she asked. "Because we don't laugh AT you to be cruel and mean! We like laughing WITH you, we love the parties you throw all of us. We'd never dream of laughing AT you just to be cruel," she stated, but knew Rainbow was closer to Pinkie than she was, but she tried her best.
Twilight tried to think, how could she get through to Pinkie?
Fluttershy looked at Rainbow's hurt face and softened for a moment, then growled. "Then why didn't she help me whenever that meanie Gilda bullied me at Flight School!"
OOC: Your choice as to rather Rainbow is even aware of that part or not.

"Then why did Discord break you by laughing making you think we were laughing at you, Pinkie?" asked Twilight, looking to her. She then looked at her. "Pinkie, you know that was a lie and you know what you're saying is a lie. The REAL Pinkie would never make another pony feel bad! She only wants everypony to smile, that's what she wants! You have a party cannon specifically so you can throw a party anytime someone needs cheered up! Now you're hurting all of that, that's not you!"

Fluttershy gave a whine, her eyes flickering. "Rainbow..." she muttered, then growled. "You should've known! You should've realized what a big dumb meanie Gilda was!" she yelled, then smacked Rainbow in the face with her hoof, hard.

Rarity fell to the ground, coughing rather heavily. Ponies kicked hard, though she was rather glad it hadn't been Applejack.
Twilight growled. "Alright, Pinkie, if you want me to smile so bad, then do something to make me smile!" she stated, seriously, her face dead serious. "Because guess what? Like this, you'll NEVER make anypony smile ever again! I know I'm not going to, no matter what you do. Even Ruin wins and does what he showed us, nopony will ever laugh or smile or be happy EVER again," she stated, knowing deep down inside, Pinkie's PURPOSE for existing was to make everypony in her sight happy if she could. "And something else, we know the REAL Pinkie is terrified of losing her friends," she stated, stepping forwards. "And Ruin ordered you to kill me," she stated, looking Pinkie right in the eyes. She closed her eyes. "Go ahead, do it. Kill me," she stated, not opening her eyes. "Because here's the thing, Pinkie, if you do, you'll lose a friend and NEVER get her back, EVER."
Fluttershy gasped, staggering back, looking at her hoof like it wasn't even a part of her. Unlike the others, the mere idea of violence sickened Fluttershy in every concievable fashion. She was a pacifist by nature. "Rainbow Dash... I..." she shook her head and tried to hit Rainbow, but stopped a few inches, struggling with herself. "No..." she whispered, looking serious. "I... I won't..." she said, backpeddling. "I... I can't do it..." she said, looking very conflicted, fighting with herself.

Twilight didn't move, didn't respond, just stood there with her eyes closed. "Go ahead... Because live or die, if you stay like this I'll have lost a friend forever..." she stated quietly, a tear streaming down her face from each eye.
Fluttershy let out a scream, her Element lighting up brightly, the shadow being expelled from her body and thrown back. Before it could land, Fluttershy had spun around, glaring straight at it. No, STARING straight at it. "Listen here! I don't know what you are, or what you did to me, but no pony makes me hurt my friends!" she yelled, tears running down her face. "I won't let you make me hurt them anymore, you awful thing! Understand!" she yelled, the shadow cowering and actually fleeing her. She then turned and practically collapsed embracing Rainbow, sobbing heavily.
"I'm sorry... I'm so sorry..." the kind little pegasus sobbed, tears soaking her face and Rainbow's mane. "I can't believe I actually hurt anypony, especially one of my friends..." she cried in the most hearbroken voice the Element Of Kindness had ever spoken.

"We both would, Pinkie," said Twilight calmly. "I can't be your friend if you're going to try and kill me, rather you kill me or not, we both lose a friend."
Rarity looked the situation over and walked over next to Twilight, closing her eyes. "Make that two friends, Pinkie, I'm Ruin's enemy too."
"Kill them!" bellowed Ruin to Pinkie, snarling, eyes glowing red. "Do it now!"
Fluttershy sobbed. "I'm sorry...I...I don't know what got into me...I'm so sorry, Rainbow Dash..." she cried, in complete disbelief she'd hurt anyone, ESPECIALLY her oldest friend. "I didn't mean any of it, I don't blame you for any of that stuff...I know you didn't know..."

Ruin snarled fiercely. "Because I told you to, you dumb pink pony!" he roared, eyes glowing bright red.
"Pinkie is not dumb, Ruin!" exclaimed Twilight. "Her brain is wired completely different than mine, she's random as can be, and sometimes I have no idea what to make of her, but she's my friend and a very smart pony!" she stated, then looked back to Pinkie. "And sometimes I forget that, and I'm sorry for those times, but I'd never want you any other way than how you REALLY are Pinkie Pie."
Rarity nodded in agreement. "I agree wholeheartedly...Fight this Pinkie, we all miss the real you!"
Fluttershy nodded slowly, looking to Applejack. "What did that awful monster do to us?"
