Felix reached blindly for anything as the weight of the mutant was shoved off of her. Her stomach was torn open and her breathing was heavy and choppy "No...Don't bite me...I can't be a mutant..." Felix muttered weakly, stull unsure of where the creature was. Felix flinched as what she assumed to be Scotty ran up to her, she looked over at him and shivered "Wh-what happened? Am I dead? Did he kill me? He killed me d-didn't he?! That b**tard!" She said weakly, actually thinking she was dead.

Luca galloped up next to Scotty, who kneeled down next to Felix, he wanted to hug her but he didn't he shook his head "No you're not dead..." he assured cradling her as they sat on the pavement, Luca whined next to him.

Felix shook, blood matting her deep brown hair and soaking her clothes "S-scotty?" She asked, her voice week "Why did he try to kill me? I-I don't even know that mutant..." She murmered as he cradeled her. Felix looked over that the dog and gave a weak smile "Good dog..." She muttered reaching a shakey hand over to him and giving him a good rub between the ears.

Erica drank the last bit of the coffee, completely uninterested in what's happening, however, she saw Felix leave and Scotty run after her. She didn't leave the dinner table, despite already being full. She just sat here. "Okay, one less idiot here." She thought, her expression bored. "Well, sure she'd be helpful, but not having her with us doesn't hurt us either." She thought, curling up a strand of her hair with her finger. It was a habit of hers.

"Actually two," Max commented, "Scotty left too..." he went back over to his now cold breakfast. He got some coffee from the coffee pot, and drank some of it. "He said he was going back to his house..." after finishing the cup, he walked over to Alfred, "Hey, I'm gonna g get some stuff from my house... to like, pay you back. Whatta ya want? Food or medical type supplies?" he asked, after he grabbed his stuff and walked back over to him.

Alfred perked when Max walked over.
"Oh no, we're fine. It's...fine..it was nice to have some company for a change, well, someone new I mean." he said with a smile. Alfred stood and looked over to the door to his bedroom, Arthur still hadn't come out.

"Oh, okay," Max nodded, "Well, I'll go get another change of clothes for myself or somethin'" he walked owards the door, "I promise I'll be back tho," he closed the door behind himself. He wandeed down the street in the direction of where he haphazardardly stowed his collection of clothes, photos, and such items from his house. He often went to his "warehouse" to get things like bullets, medical stuff, food, and clothes.
Max glanced around from under his bangs at his surroundings. Did he hear something? He gripped his crowbar, tenced up and ready to fight.

While Felix petted him, Luca glanced at Scotty who sat with an unreadable face.

"That Mutant knows me... I-It killed my brother a few years ago... and then it wants to finish taking the things I care about..." he replied looking down at her.

Felix squinted, her eyes dull "Y-you care a-about me?" She asked then shook her head, all of this was what movies she used to watch were like. The touchinf, heart melting scene where the boy is cradeling the over sensative girl. Felix didn't want to be that over sensative girl, but she couldn't move. She took her shakey hand off of the dog and touched her stomach, only to have her hand sink into the open wound. Felix winced and looked at Scotty, her lips pale, her eyelids heavy.

Scotty was about to reply, when Luca made a sound and the boy glanced at his canine. The dog sat with a teasing glimmer in his eyes. Scotty knew what he must've been thinking. Scotty and Ethan had always made fun of sappy romantic movies. Scotty, when he was younger, had vowed never to end up like that. Luca obviously hadn't believed him.Scotty looked back at Felix when she winced and suddenly all the first-aid techniques his brother had taught him came flooding back. Luca stood, Scotty knew they could make it back to their apartment but he was reluctant to moving Felix. After a minute he spoke "C'mon Felix, we need to go get you cleaned up." he put her arm around his Neck and slowly stood, he was easily able to pick her up and hold her carefully.

Felix winced as he jostled her lightly but didn't cry out. She had a death grip on his neck and hugged herself close to him, terrified of being dropped. Felix then closed her eyes "Scotty, it hurts..." She muttered, tensing her stomach and moaning. The girl now felt a few tears in her eyes, but she blinked them away, not wanting to cry. She didn't want to show weakness.

Scotty stood for a minute, he had to get use to the grip she had on his neck and how she just kinda clung to him. "I...I know, I'm sorry Felix... It's gonna hurt, you gotta try to relax." he huffed finally getting use to the grip she had on him. He sounded like his brother, he hated that thought but at the same time was kinda glad. Luca started off ahead of them, Scotty walked more steadily after.

Felix gritted her teeth and hissed through them, trying to ease the pain, but it didn't work. She started shaking all over, the shock of what had happened starting to become more of a reality. Felix closed her eyes tightly and tried her hardest not to dig her nails into Scotty's neck. She thought quickly about her arrows but dissmissed the thought, she knew how to make new ones.

Scotty had to stiffen his arms when she started shaking, trying to keep her in his grip was getting hard but he sighed with releif when he saw their apartment. "Luca!" Scotty called to his dog. "You need to go and warn the others about the mutant. It might try to go after them."

Luca barked in reply and bolted loyally off on his mission.

"Think you can make it a little longer?" he asked Felix, he started carefully up the flight of stairs that led to their apartment floor.

Felix's teeth chattered "I-I don't k-know" Every word was torture.
