Alfred woke quickly jumping up. His head his the ceiling and he groaned.
"Ow ow ow..Arthur?" He called, and the britishman stirred below him. "Mmm..Wha~" Arthur began, before hitting his head, and muttering a curse. Both boys hopped out of the bed and looked around. To their left was Riley, and to their right was Brooklynn.
"Sh**.." Arthur growled, yanking the fence back and forth.

I saw Arthur and Alrfed stir, they were to my left. I looked over at them and noticed that they had bright green jump suites on, I looked down at myself and saw I had the same. I shook my head and looked at Jack who was too my right "Yeah, I'm ok..." I said looking back at the bunk bed. I climped to the top of the bed but saw that there was no one else in there and no way out. That didn't stop me though. I hit at the cieling from the top bunk, but it was solid concret for probably about 14 inch. My eyes widened as a few more screams rang out. I looked behind me to see a girl being dragged into a room. She had chains tied to her wrists and she wasn't strong enough to pull away. The scientists pulled her into the room and there were even more screams. Only when they shut the door was it quiet agian. I felt a gag work it's way up my throat "Oh God..." I said thinking about what would happen to that poor girl.

Angelica awoke. She lay still for a moment, hearing strange sounds surrounding her. They sounded somewhat like screams. Angie finally opened her eyes, only to see herself in a cell. The very fact she saw herself locked in made her want to scream in fear. She felt her heart beat faster, she was shaking.
"W-w-where a-am I?" She heard herself stutter out. She turned her head, only to see other other people. They seemed scared, some of them almost as scared as she was. "I-I don't want t-to be h-here. E-even I-I don't deserve this." She whispered, her eyes wide. She didn't pay attention to her surroundings much. She wanted to go home.

Arthur shook the fence until his arms felt like jell-o. He sighed, feeling tears prick the corners of his eyes, but he wiped them away before someone could notice. Alfred watched the girl get dragged into the room, and his eyes widened. He ran over and hugged Arthur.
"Please don't let me die Artie!" He cried and the brit snorted.
"Hah, no we. are going to escape. All of us!" He said, looking at the kids in the cells beside them. He walked over to Riley's cell and looked in on her, then to Brooklyns.
"DUDE! What did they do with my jacket?!" Alfred yelped, seeing the jumpsuit.

Arthur came over to look at me, I felt my heart quicken as I saw the anger and fear in his eyes. I looked at him, maybe a little too long. I tore my eyes away from his and looked at my ugly, bright green jump suit. He then walked over to Brooklyn's cell, which I felt bad about. He doesn't care about you! Let it go! I told myself. I looked over at Alfred and let a small smile pass my lips as he screamed about his jacket missing. I rolled my eyes, too, that was the least of our problems.

Jack sighed with relief as he heard them all being okay. He then sat on the bed and thought. Then stood up again: he just couldn't sit in one place for too long. He walked up to the chain fence that separated him from Riley. "We just have to think of a plan. Before they made circus animals out of us." he said, half to himself, half to Riley, looking around the small cells.

Brooklyn slowly woke but kept her eyes closed. She really hoped that that all was a dream. She sighed when she heard one of her family members walking down the hall outside her room. She did notice it felt like a freezer in her room and mumbled to who ever was walking down the hall, "Ugh... Someone turn the heat on," Brooklyn complained. All of a sudden there was a scream and Brooklyn shot up and fell off the bunk. She let out a cough of pain as she fell on the cold cement floor. She looked up widely seeing that she was in a cell. Brooklyn jumoed up and ran the the front of the cell screaming to let her out. She looked to one side of her velk to see Angelica on one side and Arthur and Alfred on the other. See noticed they were wear ugly green suits and looked to see if she was too. She let out a small shriek to see she had one on and her uniform gone. Then she heard the screaming again which came from behind a door outsude from her cell. Brooklyn was so scared she started crying. She was shivering like crazy and she didnt know if it was from being scared or from it being so cold. Her face must have gone pale and her eyes were wide with fear. Brooklyn saw Arthur who walked over by her cell. She ran ovet and cried out, "Im scared..."

"And you're going to be pessimistic enough to give in? Seriously, be a man." Jack replied to Xander, unamused by his sudden giving up. Of course, he could understand, as now there looked as if there was practically no way for them to get out: they were being watched, and listened to. But he was sure that they just needed some time to think. If only the scientists would give them the time...But they probably wouldn't, so they all needed to hurry up.

"Look, Xander, I understand. We all understand. We all feel more or less the same, but...There is always a way out. And you know that." he replied to Xander in a calm tone, even though inside he was feeling close to what Xander was feeling. "I might sound insane, but...Maybe...If they get to inject animal features to us somehow...Maybe...They won't be that bad...Maybe...That'll make us even stronger..." he said, then gulped, running over what he said in his mind. "I really might've sounded stupid, or like, day-dreaming or something, but...When you think about it...Well, it's up to those who want it...And who don't." he finished his speech, and looked at his scared friends.

Jack looked at Xander, with his eyes full of understanding and sorry for him, and for all of them. "I'm not being brave, Xander. Maybe it really looks like I am, but I am not. I'm just...Just..." he looked at the ground, then sighed. "Trying to keep our hopes up. Our life wasn't supposed to end here, in such an awful way." he finished, then looked through the chain fence at those awful scientists, and a lot of other, unknown teens also with a scared faces. "Together, all of us, and I mean all, not just our group, because there are plenty more who wish to get out, and are scared...Together, we can make it."Jack said, and sighed, trying his hard to believe in his own words. "For now yes, we are weak, and can't do anything, but, just as more days will pass, we will surely get a clue of how to get out. We just need everyone to get serious again, getting their hopes up, and not thinking that their end came."he said, then sat on the cold ground, thinking again.
