Thanks.
Yeah, some strong storms went through yesterday, but like Monday (there was a confirmed EF1 in my town on Monday, but it hit farm land, so it didn't do any large amounts of devistation), we didn't get a direct hit. Heck, last night I was standing outside watching the lighting show over to the east side of my house. I tried to photograph it, but I got nothing. It was too dark to pick it up, sadly.

Time for some new contributions! ++++++++++ Went to Houston, Texas recently for a medical conference. Stayed at the Hilton Americas Hotel, which is a pretty awesome place (if ridiculously expensive, as such hotels often are), and got some pretty cool photos not only of the downtown buildings, but also of the hotel itself (been experimenting with angles, colors, interior shots, etc.). To wit: An interesting and developing "anvil cloud" formation I noticed during the flight home... Some shots from the neighborhood (the flowers were all pretty tiny, actually, requiring the "macro" setting)...

O.O Amazing photos! I gotta admit, these are the best I've seen you take. My favorite is the storm clouds; simply amazing!

You definitely are developing a knack for good cloud photos yourself, Mighty. Keep working on it! But those recent ones are pretty good! You seem to have a thing for clouds. XP

That must be during the "dying" stage of a thunderstorm. All these pic are wonderful but the thunderstorm really got my attention! The last time i took a pic of a thunderstorm a firestorm broke out and destroyed a whole town!

Though I believe it was a developing weather pattern. Meanwhile, that pic of yours is pretty awesome as well...

A few new additions... First, for Mighty, because she's gaga over storm clouds ( )...these from a recent fast-moving thunderhead which passed through my area yesterday afternoon. It came, bellowed out some thunder and a tiny bit of rain, and was gone within maybe twenty minutes, if that. Lol Gotta love early spring weather patterns. A bit of the cloud formations left behind when the thunderhead moved on... Some general neighboorhood pics...flowering trees. It's SPUH-RIIIING! ROFL (First two are the same grouping of trees, taken from opposite points of view) Lots more coming soon!
