Lia froze, picturing it. She had a mind that worked like a movie film. Memories were flashbacks, stories were film clips, dreams were hazy, etc. She imagned being Veemon and being enclosed inside a shell. Shaking her head, Lia decided she didn't want to think about it. Pushing through the entrance, she saw William and Gabumon asleep in their bed. Eiji and Betamon must have been in the shadows, for she did not see them.
David hung back a little, waiting for Akari to go through the entrance before him.

Akari lead the way in and looked around. "Where's Eiji and Betamon?" she asked, looking around, only for Eiji to come back in with Betamon, carrying more food. "Oh, hi."
"We decided to get some food real quick," said Eiji. "Make sure we have enough," she said, handing an apple to Biyomon, who looked starved. He looked to David. "Oh, hello," he said. "I'm Eiji Takashi, glad to meet you."
"And I'm Betamon! Glad to meet you!" said a happy Betamon, jumping up and down happily.

Eiji nodded. "Glad to meet you," he said, giving Terriermon and Gatomon some fruit. "William seems to be ok," he said. "I think he'll be fine."
"Hi! I'm glad to meet you!" said Betamon, jumping up and down. "What was going on at Koromon Village?"

"Nice to meet you too, Betamon." David said, smiling down at the little Digimon.
Terriermon ate a fruit quickly, smiling at the good flavor.
"Depthmon- I mean Sethmon was attacking them with another Digimon named Shellmon. It took a while, but we got rid of them." Lia said, looking down at Betamon.
Gatomon ate her fruit quickly and curled up in her bed, yawning loudly.

Betamon nodded. "The moor the merrier!" he said. "I'm glad to have you here!"
"And I digivolved into ZoruBirdramon," explained Biyomon, smiling. "It was cool!"
"And we managed to steal one of Depthmon's Digi-Eggs, which I reformated and gave to Gatomon," explained Akari. "So overall, our team has gotten stronger."
"That's good, but I think we're all tired, and it'd probably be a bad idea to go outside at night," said Eiji. "We should try and get some rest."

"Let's get some rest for now. In the morning we can officially begin training with our Digimon." Lia suggested, going to sit down next to Gatomon in her bed.
Gatomon opened one eye when Lia sat down next to her and closed it again.
David grabbed Terriermon and took him over to a space where nobody else had claimed as their bed and leaned against a tree, closing his eyes.

Akari and Biyomon laid down together, Akari hugging Biyomon like a child would a doll for comfort.
Eiji laid down next to Betamon, the tiny green Digimon laying bside him.

"Alright, Betamon, let's go," said Eiji, throwing a rock into the air.
"Electric Shock!" called Betamon, sending a bolt of lightning into the rock and destroying it.
"Good shot buddy!" called Eiji, getting another rock.
"Alright, Biyomon," said Akari, having set up several fruits on a cluster of rocks nearby. "Give it your best shot."
Biyomon nodded, flying upwards. "Spiral Twister!" she called, sending a swirling stream of green flames and blasting one of the fruits. She repeated this until she'd hit them all. "How was that?"

Although they did not really need it, David decided to train with Terriermon as well. He had taken the bark of some trees and painted them to look like different Digimon. "Go!" He said.
"Bunny Blast!" Terriermon yelled, spitting a ball of superheated air at the planks. Once he had hit every single one, he turned to David and smiled.
"Lightning Paw!" Gatomon yelled, running at the large piece of fruit that Lia had set in front of her. The Digimon lashed out her paw and sliced the fruit in half.
