Santa nodded, picking up the bag. "I'm afraid so. It will last until tomorrow night. At the stroke of midnight, you won't be able to fly anymore."

Anabelle blinked, suprised. It made her fairly angry, to think someone had messed with their heads. "Lena, if I weren't, why would I come to rescue you? How would I know all the adventures you've been on with," she pointed to Tai "Your sister, who isn't as bold?" she asked, wings folded against her back. "Your family is a little busy so I came to take you home before Santa comes." she murmured sweetly, her halo growng brighter. "unfortunately, I need your help. My bad cousin let all of Santa's reindeer go, and he needs them to go home." she said. "I was asked to find them, but I was told four smart pups could help.0 she said, making Kai blush.

Belladonna but a finger to Pakak's muzzle. "oh no no no.. Did I say anything that sounded like 'I hope they burn, too'? I only wanna see the house burn, Babe. Contrary to popular belief, a lot of demons don't care. Including me." she said with a seductive smile. "The only thing I care about is a very handsome male, with some wicked looking jewelry." she tussled the beads playfully.

Santa nodded, smiling. "Of course." he said, taking out the right presents and sending them down.

Anabelle laughed softly, rubbing Cachen and Lena's heads. "I'm not offended, I just wish no one would have done this on the first place." she said, sad, before hearing them respond. She smiled wide. "I'm glad to hear it!" she said, looking at the pups and their eager faces. "your family must be very proud. You're so brave."

Belladonna nodded. "Something like what we have comes once in a lifetime. And we live forever, that's quite a while to be lonely. Not that it really matters with our kinds." she said, looking about for the sleigh

Santa blinked, looking confused."I don't understand. Pakak can't do this alone. This is the handiwork or a certain demon."

Anabelle smiled, leaning down. "Call me Anabelle." she said, standing up "But now we need to get going, you four."

Belladonna genuinely smiled, putting a paw on his shoulder. "Not anymore." she said, seeing the sleigh. "Oh! They're here!"

Santa shook his head. "I'm not sure. I never faced this problem before."

Anabella smiled, shocked they knew what they were. "Do you know what a reindeer smells like?" she asked.

Kai blinked. "Mama bringed us that once, 'member Lena?"

Belladonna chuckled, watching Santa look puzzled. "This is gonna get better." she said in a low voice.

Santa smiled, looking rather amazed. "I'm glad you're here," he said, opening the door gingerly.

Belladonna growled deeply, gritting her teeth.

kai nodded and started to sniff about, eyes searching.

Anabelle smiled softly, looking at the pups. "I'm a whippet." she said, looking very amused. "Its too cold for us here, because of how short our fur is." she told him, smiling even wider at them sniffing

"I do my best," said Balto, giving a kind smile.

Sakak snarled. "I was in a totem pole, all I know is the family are heroes, do you know anything else about that guy?"

Cachen nodded. "But you can be here cause you angel, right?"

"Oh! That reminds me!" said Aniu. "I invited Anabelle to this gathering, I knew the pups missed her, I hope she's not too busy to come."

Kai blinked, looking pleasantly suprised. "really? Déjà vu." he joked, giving her a smile.

Anabelle chuckled, appearing beside Aniu. Like Lenatei, her wings were decorated. "I cut a few strings, and I can be here for a little." she looked around. "can these four be the same pups?" she asked.

Annabelle smiled wider, before looking at the four new pups, and Katie, pregnant. " you'll have a big family." she said, looking at Lenatei. "It's fine, I know how much you missed them." she turned to Balto, grinning. "Oh! How could I forget that?" she said, a little bitter. "Please continue."

Anabelle nodded, looking upset. "I don't like her much anymore, either." she said, silently asking forgiveness. "I did pity Belladonna though, she was just as alone as Pakak. I hope they don't have children as bad as they are. If they can at all." she chuckled, but nodded. "So, what was going on in the story so far?"
