A loud growl eminated through Aaron's throat as Sespyn tried his best and hardest to challenge him. "Don't push me, nymph. You'll regret it." His blue eyes suddenly slitted into those of his dragon side. The sharp, split in two at the edge, tounge from his reptilian form came out as a hiss spread through the cave. He pulled it back and returned his eyes to normal, however a cold hard look still stayed there.

He didn't even bother turning back to see his... friends should he call them? Whatever they were, he knew most of them felt the same way he did, though maybe not as strong. He pushed his hands back into his pockets and continued walking at his same pace.

Kasha couldn't suppress a grin from forming on her face. It wasn't necessarily a cheerful one, more of anticipation. She ignored Aaron, hoping the matter would cool off somewhat. Lyllii's apologetic glance proved that she wasn't supporting the other nymph's behavoir, which somehow soothed the anthro's irriation.

Keeping her staff out of it's sheath, she twirled it expertly. "I look forward to it," she said, a gleam of anticipation in her eye. A warrior at heart, she loved the adrenaline that came with a fight, even if it was merely sparring.

Maiya let out an inaudible sigh of relief. While Aaron still seemed tense and venomous towards Sespyn, Kasha seemed to be relaxing, if fractionally.

OOC: Slight writer's block; I hope that my post isn't too lame.

Bic:
Sespyn held his gaze with his own cold sea-grean eyes. "Suit yourself," he finally said, allowing the other boy blaze on ahead of him as he waited for the other three to catch up. Quite the touchy one, are we?

A moment later, Lyllii socked him lightly on the arm. "Uhg, you're so gloomy!" she teased slightly.

"And for a creature of the forest, you tend to have a fiery personality," he replied.

"Curious," she corrected. "And entergetic. How is that different from most woodland creatures?"

He shrugged, but didn't offer an audible response. "It shouldn't be any longer than a quarter hour from the exit," he said a long while later. "It will be dusk by then."

"Great! We'll finally get some fresh air!" the young wood nymph replied, unable to supress her relieved grin.

Aaron suddenly realized he was alone on this. No one agreed with his feelings towards Sespyn anymore. So, he decided to take off. If no one cared anymore, it seemed, to have him join, and if this... guy was going to join their group in his place, maybe he had no more reason to be there. He huffed a breath before stopping in his tracks. The exit was right in front of them, shining the sunlight right down on a third of his body. He breathed a deep breath and began to change.

His form was, in minutes, his golden dragon one. Flapping his wings in a fury, it only took a few more for him to get out of there. Once high enough in the air, he blew fire all over. It was part of getting out rage, one of his habits. When he was angry, he tended to have a very short fuse. Though it should have been obvious now.

The dragon began to fly far off from the group, attempting to get away from anyone and anything he had seen that day.

Once outside the cave, Lyllii realized that Aaron was not there waiting for them. She immediatly whirled around and faced Sespyn, eyes blazing. So much for not being fiery.

"What did you do?" she demanded.

Sespyn raised an eyebrow, thoroughly confused and shocked at her reaction. "What are you talking about?" he prostested.

"Aaron, you idiot! Where is he?"

"Lyllii, how should I know? And why are you so concerned about the dragon anyways?"

The wood nymph swiftly punched him in the gut, causing him to double over slightly. "How dare you!" she shouted. "You have no idea what the four of us went through! And you will find him! Don't even think about coming back here empty handed!"

"Lyllii..." Sespyn started.

"GO!!!"

He sighed, twirled his staff, and bounded up the hills in leeps and bounds, using his staff to vault him to areas he couldn't reach normally. Though he couldn't fly as fast as a dragon, he had high stamina and speed that would rival that of most elves, and heightened senses to guide him as he tracked the prickly dragon.

Kasha couldn't hide her grin of pleasure. She gave an impressed nod in the nymph's direction. "Bravo, Lyllii. That was wonderful." Her tail twitched in barely suppressed glee.

Aaron still hadn't gotten too far off from the group, but was indeed trying to. With the flap of his wings roaring so close to his ears, he didn't sense the nymph below him, using his staff to follow. He would have had his mind been clear, but since it was not, he just wandered through different thoughts, not even taking the time to think why those certain subjects flashed through his head.

Suddenly, though, he was interrupted when he took a look back. His blue reptilian eyes caught sight of Sespyn and he growled angrily. He didn't want to be found, especially by that... creature. He snarled and took off faster, making his presence know even if Sespyn hadn't seen him yet.

OOC: sorry about being away for so long without notice... been really busy lately. uhg.

Sespyn gritted his teeth together. Sheesh, make it easier for both of us and slow down!, he complained inwardly, but he didn't dare utter his thoughts aloud. Instead, he made a leap of faith, and rushed through thin air. Quickly he willed his staff to mold into a wingless glider, improvisig the missing pieces with water, and using the invisible particles remaining in the air currents to hold him aloft; all he could do now was pray. One attack from the dragon against his vulnerable self would cause him to plummet to the stoney ground nearly a mile below; one wrong move and his bones would rattle internally against the earth. The nymph felt his energy begin to wane as he held on.

"Oi! Slow down a little, will you?" He called over the strong headwind. "Troublesome as it is, but Lyllii won't let me return without you with me!"

Lyllii cast a smoldering glare at Kasha. "There is nothing to be impressed about," she replied coldly. She spotted a stream nearby. "I'm going to get a drink; anyone need their canteens refilled?" she offered, forcing a grin and bottling her frustration.

OOC: drama... oh well, sorta suspected something like that would happen lol

Aaron stopped when he realized the nymph was trying to follow him by way of air. "What does she care?" He breathed, smoke coming from his nostrils and seeping out of the gaps in his closed mouth. "Go back there without me. I'm not coming with you," he huffed.

Analyzing the situation, he managed to make out just how undefended Sespyn looked. The dragon could have easily shot him down, though he didn't think it was necessary at the moment. What good would that do? Sure, he hated the guy's first impression, but he wasn't trying to harm him in any way at the moment. He wasn't even insulting him. Shooting him out of the sky now would just be considered cruel.

"Why should I?"

Sespyn offered a strained chuckle. "Don't ask me; ask her yourself, though that would include you returning for a moment."

The flimsy craft buckled under a sudden gust of wind, causing Sespyn to temporarily loose altitude. His limbs contracted as he struggled to stabilize it.

"Fun as this may be," he called, "I won't be able to hold out much longer, but I will say one last thing; I never meant to 'chase you out' and I apologize for my earlier behavior. I tend to come across as... rude at times, and Lyllii never lets me get away with it."

Aaron finally touched down onto the floor and sighed, another breath of smoke coming from his golden scaled snout. "I'm not sure how I feel about you yet. Your first impression was less than welcoming," he recalled. "I'll go back, but..." he trailed off, in an attempt to look for the rest of the words. He found none.

Kasha's ears went back against her head in surprise, and a slight bit of hurt. Her pride kicked in, refusing to allow her to do anything but respond in the same, cold tone. "I think I'll be fine," she said, tail twitching in irritation. She turned away from the nymph slightly, eyes flashing with frustration.

Maiya flattened herself against a nearby, rocky wall, trying to stay out of the way. She didn't want to get into this; first it was Sespyn vs. Kasha and Aaron. Now it was...Lyllii vs. Kasha? She didn't enjoy arguements all too much, and tried to look as inconspicuous as possible.

As quickly as her outburst came, it dispersed, leaving only shame in it's aftermath. Lyllii quickly grabbed her staff and fled, seeking the water's soothing relief in more way than one. She returned sheepishly a moment later, her face and hairline soaked and dripping, her cheeks and ear tips a bright bloachy pink. Without a word, she picked up Seapyn's abandoned flint and started to build a fire; she may be a plant herself, but that didn't mean she didn't know how to handle fire. Besides, she wanted -needed- to do something for her comrades.

The nymph brought his craft to a shaky hover a few feet above the forest floor and landed in a less than graceful manner intended on all fours. When he arose and dusted himself off, he nodded in response, taking a moment to relax his shoulder.

"Well, time to go back. I have a feeling that Lyllii is about to do something stupid."

Aaron just nodded quietly and took off into the air, slowly gaining height. "If you want I can..." He hated himself for offering, but as quickly as his hate had appeared, it seemed to be leaving little by little. After all, Sespyn had apologized. And even if it may not have been the most sincere, it was still a sorry and counted for something... right?

He continued with a hesitant tone, not sure how the male nymph would react to the offer. "...give you a lift."

OOC: sorry about disapearing, but I'm afraid that this will need to be paused for awhile. >_< Really, really busy right now, and as a warning, I prolly won't be on again until summer. Uber apologies for the hypocrasy and inconvenience... T_T
