Shadow sat up and watched the scene

Kya sighed, realizing that she had probably been a bit harsh. "Sorry," She apologized, "But I still don't really want to play right now."

Sirah nodded slowly "No, im sorry Kya.. Maybe we can play later?" She said looking up to her Hopefully "With Taki and Shadow? prehaps we could show Shadow around the forest! Race eachother.. Hunt? I want to do so much today" she said perking up her mood to the things she and her friends could do

"Maybe," Kya replied lightly. "I have flute lessons after lunch, and then we;ll see what we can do." She smiled. "And I betcha Taki would like to play now." Hearing her name, Taki perked up. "Wha? Who mentioned me?" She asked, mouth still full of meat.

Sirah giggled at the look on Taki's face with her mouth full of meat "Didnt your mother taught you to not talk with ya mouth full?" she said wiping of a bit of meat from her arm that taki spat when she talked

Kya laughed. "Yes, she did. But you know Taki!" Taki shot an evil glare at her sister before swallowing her food. "Hey, you caught me by surprise! I didn't have time to think about manners!" "Whatever," Kya replied, her tone slightly teasing

Sirah crawled over and Hugged Kya from behind watching Taki "Kya, do you believe in spiritual sibling feeling thingies?" she asked with a happy yet curious tone

Kya had been momentarily zoned out. "What?" She asked. "Oh, right. Spiritual siblings. I think it could be taken in different ways," She began, "So you might want to be more specific in that question."

Sirah huffed " i aint taught this stuff, i hear it from other wolves .they say that they have strange connections with their brother or sister. like they can tell eachothers feelings even if they hide it. and know where they are. it sounds awesome! wish i could have it.." she looked away pushing away the thoughts that haunted her, looking back hugging Kya harder to try get an answer

Kya thought for a moment. "Yes, I believe in that," She said finally, "But it's rare, I'd think. Such a thing only occurs when is really needed. Like that one time..." She trailed off as she recalled a distant memory from when she was younger, much younger, perhaps 4. It was not a pleasant one.

Sirah looked into Kyas eyes seeing what she was memorizing. "Well.. whats it like? is it like thoughts? a daydream? it sounds so mystical when i hear others say they have that belief to."

"Well," Kya said quietly, "I think I had an experience once that could have something to do with it. With Taki. It was like a...feeling. Like I knew something was happening to her, because I could feel it myself.
Taki swallowed her piece of meat, remembering. "You mean that time that I---" Kya nodded.

Shadows ears perked "Wha?"

Sirah turned to look at Shadow "Wha what?"

Shadow blinked "Was questioning what happened to Taki"

Sirah gave him a long look "Kya?" she said looking down to Kya, wondering if she would tell the whole story

Kya sighed. "I'll tell you what I remember. But it was a long time ago, so the details may not be clear." She took another deep breath before continuing. "As I said, it was a long time ago. Taki and I were still living in our parent's tent. One day, Taki wandered off. I didn't notice." She paused, trying to recall just what happened next. "Suddenly, I felt a flash of panic, and my fur felt wet, even though it wasn't. It was scary. Something told my I had to go to the river, so I grabbed my mom's paw. I told her we needed to get to the river now. My mom got up to talk to Tekuse about it, and while she was doing that, the panic feeling flashed by me again, stronger this time. I yelled for my mom to hurry up, and bolted ahead out of camp. I don't know what happened in the meantime with Tekuse, all I remember is that my mom soon followed me. When we got to the river, Taki had gone swimming and was drowning," Kya paused dramatically, and was also concentrating on just what happened in the terrible memory. "My mom saved her, of course, and relief washed over me. It was like I had...felt what she felt, kinda."

shadow stared, Bewildered by the story "Wow, So you saved her life..?" Shadow looked over to Taki then to Kya, smiling "thats quite a amazing story."

Sirah let go of Kya rolling onto her back "Shes a Hero!, it was amazing t he story went through the camp. Her mother was so brave, and if it wasnt for Kya.. Taki wouldnt be eating with us, I wish i had something like that with my brother.. if he was still around n all." she rolled onto her side, pushing again that memory "I never knew THATS what made ya went to rescue her Kya.. my mother told me it was coincidence."
