Rue yawned, and Tariq stirred. Ree nudged him, and he groaned. "Get up," she said softly, and he releculantly oobeyed, sitting up, grey-blue eyes tired. A moan similiar to Tariq's came from Maddy as she stretched, seeming to wake up immediatly.

"I'll be right back, Kuilak," Said Setsuko, and walked outside with Li. Kuilak groaned. Early-morning babysitting was not his favorite job. Kanna and Misaki woke up, stirring and kicking their blankets. The sisters leaped up. "Morning!" cried Misaki in delight.

Tess sat up, making Gale blearily follow her example. "Morning," she yawned, in reply to Misaki. Maddy, roused by the noise, jerked upright, eyes wide open with alarm. She relaxed as she looked around.

"Papa, wake up!" Moaned Kanna, shaking Kuilak's arm. "Alright, alright," he grumbled, still trying to pull himself out of bed. He stretched and yawned. As soon as he sat up, Yuumi stumbled over to him and knocked him back down, laughing. Kuilak groaned. "Now, none of that!" Scolded Kya, picking up her little brother and moving him away from Kuilak.

"Get up, Gale," Tess said, shaking her brother's arm "I am up," he said grumpily, sitting up, shifting his sister's hand off of him.

Kuilak sat up again, his mind re-adjusting to the fact that he was in an old dusty cabin.

Maddy stood and stretched, running her fingers through her messy hair. Tess walked away from Gale, and towards Misaki

Setsuko returned to the cabin. Li, quiet but now playful, bounced in her arms. "Anyone want breakfast?" She offered.

"I do!" Maddy and Tess said in unison. Gale just nodded, more silent than his siblings at times. "I'll help make it," Rue offered. Seeing Tariq cringe, she shrugged. "Guess not then." SHe wasn't known for her talent in cooking.

"Wait, wait, wait," Sumi interrupted. "We're talking about cooking, but we can't do that without food, can we?" The room went silent, processing the point. "He's right," Kya agreed glumly. "We need food before we can eat." Setsuko shared a glance with Rue. Whoops!

"We could go fishing," Rue suggested. Tariq's eyes lit up. Surprisingly, he liked fishing, although back at home, Rue found it boring.

Kuilak reached for his quiver, which was lying on the floor near his blanket. "Or hunting," He added. "Yeah, and Jaci's a great fisher," Setsuko agreed, "But I myself can't go. I have six kids to look after!" "You could make that five." Sumi spoke up again. "I could go with Dad."

"I'll go fishing," Tariq said. "Anyone who wants to can come with me."

"I'll go!" Gale said, raising his hand. "Kya? You want to come?" There was something about her that made him want to invite her to come along.

Kya glanced up, a bit surprised by Gale's offer. "Uh..." She stammered. "Sorry, I can't...I mean, I would love to, but I really need to help out with Yuumi and all..." Her cheeks colored slightly as she explained, her tongue tied.

Gale felt slightly disappointed, but didn't let it show. "I'll be here too. I can help Setsuko with Yuumi. You cna go if you want," Rue said.
