Nika nodded "Yeah, I learned it when I was younger, I learned alot of things when I was younger." She mummered as she shifted her body weight slightly.

Cade narrowed her eyes as she witnessed Nika lick Scythe's ear, and she growled in a cat-like way.

Dewey's eyes fluttered open. I must have passed out from all that excitement. he thought. As the kitten looked back at his legs, he squeezed his eyes shut, not wanting to see it anymore. He turned his head to the cats surrounding him, a smile spreading across his face. "That was exciting!" he cheered, thinking of only the positives as usual.

Nika watched as Cade walked off and shrugged, turning back to the injured cats."Ha, Dewey, you feelin better I suppose?" She hoped the answer would be a yes from the small kitten.

"Yeah, sure kid." Claw said, padding off to his room. He leapt onto on of the armchairs. "Hey does my head look better?" he called into the main room. "has the bleeding stopped?"

"It hurts," said the kitten, "But it could be a lot worse!" smiled Dewey, "And Claw, you're head looks so much better."

"Ok." Claw said. "As long as the bleeding stopped. I'm gonna sleep off the pain a little." he called, and then curled up onto the armchar.

Nika looked outside, the moon was hanging high in the sky "Yeah, we all should be getting off to sleep." She walked upstairs with Crow not to far behind her."Good night guys!" She called loudly from atop the staircase before running off to bed.

Next morning!

Nika sat up in her bed watching the warm sunlight seep through the curtains onto her calico pelt."Morning." She called loudly, not looking away from the window.

Nika nodded at Scythe "Trust me, I know." Her stomach grumbled feircly as she trotted to the pile and took half of a salami stick that they had taken yesterday."I'll send a hunting patrol, there are mice crawlng everywhere now that the humans are gone." She looked around, her eyes looking for the most fit members of their group and it wasn't a good handfull."Sythe, Cade, and I," She looked around again, noticing Crow puncing on a tassle from the rug "And Crow, we will leave once everyone is up." Her eyes were dull and lifeless, unlike their normal brightness.

"When exactly do we go?" asked Cade, entering the conversation.

Claw woke up, and slowly strectched, vaguely remembering the day before. He jumped down from the chair he had been on, and heard Scythe say "We may have to move on in a few days."
"What?" he meowed. "Move? Why?"

Nika noded, understanding."But where would we move, there aren't many other places without the bothersome and dangerous humans like here." She sighed heavily and looked at the cats.
