"Do you promise not to do it at a point it'll make things worse?" asked Sora. "If so, then yes." she said. "But do as I say, or I'll spray you." she said, she only did that if misbehaved a lot in a row, so far she'd only had to once since she'd been his 'mother'.
"Tails, how do you normally search for the Chaos Emeralds?" asked Mirai.

Gerath looked scared for a second, then said a quick, "Ok, you're the boss!"

"Oh, believe me, they do!" laughed Tails. "They're extremely powerful, and can be used to operate many different things. Their power can even be drained and used for ammo in cannons and stuff." added Tails, spinning the Chaos Emerald around in his hand.
"I am ready!" pleaded Gerath. "Can I please go? I never get to do fun stuff with Sonic or anybody anymore!"

Mirai nodded. "Indeed, and I'm willing to bet such a weapon would be very deadly. But from the sound of things, their normal intention is to be used for good." he said. "So where did these objects come from?"
"Ok, just go pack your bags, knowing Sonic, we'll be gone awhile." said Sora.
Yapool was looking around the base and came across a unfunctioning rebuild of Metal Sonic. "Hmm, Eggman, whats this?"

"They came from our world." interrupted Espio, his violet tail curling and uncurling as he spoke. "They were just things from nature, like diamonds here on Earth. Nobody knows where they came from, but the Master Emerald, the Emerald that controls all the others, was always located on Angel Island, Knuckles' home. Ain't that right, Hothead?"
Eggman drooped as he laid his eyes upon the failed attempt at defeating Sonic. "Oh, just a robot programmed to learn and outdo Sonic in every way, but failed. "When I first used the original, it lost because it had learned compassion, which was a fluke in my doing. I tried to rebuild it and make it invulnerable to emotions, but it's not coming along so well. So I stashed it in the back here, with all my other failures."

Knuckles nodded. "But its not as durable as the others, its shattered several times, most rescently when we tried to use it to destroy Dark Oak, it didn't work."
"Wait, you're from another dimmension as well?" asked Mirai, suprised.
Sonic nodded. "That's why we didn't question you coming from another world." he said. "Long story short, one of Eggman's machines went boom and blew us here."
"I see." said Yapool. "Perhaps I can help." he said. "Gadiba!" he called out, suddenly a smoke dragon appeared around the alien tyrant. Yapool pointed to Metal Sonic. Gadiba roared and surged into the machine, causing it to rise into the air and crackle with energy, its eyes glowing dark red. It then changed, taking on a form simular to the Werehog form Sonic once took, only robotic. "What do you think? Gadiba can do things like this."

"We're all from a different dimension!" informed Gerath, throwing a white bag over his shoulder. "This Knothole is only a copy of the real one, which is on Mobius. It's another planet." Gerath threw an 'I-told-you-so' look at Mirai and said, "See? I's smart!"
Sally rolled her eyes and added softly so no one else could hear, "That's why you use the contraction 'I's'."
Eggman grinned evilly and questionably put a hand under his chin. "You, sir, are one very useful ally." he praised.

Gerath shrugged. "I guess so." he said as he dropped his plastic bag on Tails' ship.
"Now wait a minute!" exclaimed Shadow as he pulled on Gerath's tails to hold him still. "You have no way of protecting yourself, and you're not fit to fight these monsters. What use are you to us?"
Gerath looked around for someone to speak on his behalf.

Shadow crossed his arms and said, "Little kids aren't what we need. They'll only lug us down with more people to worry about." He had a slight crush on Sora, but tried not to let it shine through.
Tails gave an exaggerated, "Ahem!" from the ship's cockpit. "I'm about the same age as him, and I always come!"
Shadow sighed, which meant that he gave in. "If he gets out of hand, we're bringing him right back here."
Gerath jumped into the ship with an excited, "All right!"

"Believe me, I'll keep him under control." said Sora, smiling, she shared Shadow's crush a little, but likewise didn't show it. She entered the craft as well, Sonic and Knuckles following.
Mirai walked up. "Shadow, trust me when I say, sometimes the youngest mind can have the best ideas." he said before boarding as well.

Shadow narrowed his eyes at Mirai's sudden comment, then boarded the ship as well.
"Is everyone in?" called Tails.
"Wait!" shouted Espio from the ground. "I think I've got a reading on some source of evil energy. Headed this way."
