"Yeah sure," Azara said, "I just can't believe my little baby girl is all grown up now," he said

Kali felt all the more awkward as he said that, wanting to disappear into the shadows so they could talk without her overhearing everything. Ecspecially the 'baby girl' part.

Kali smiled. "It's fine," she saaid, padding along side. Her eager eyes took in detail as she turned her head. They weren't deep into the camp, but she looked raptly anyways.
