"What her name?" asked Cachen.
"I just want talk to Tai is all." said Lena, licking her little sister's nose.
Tina walked over to Jenna and Balto. "I'm glad Cachen is feeling better, must have been awful...poor puppy."

Katie blinked, smiling softly. "I think your Grandpa said her name was Tina." she said in a gentle voice, laying down slowly.
Tai giggled and rubbed her nose, tilting her head. "About what, Lena?"
Balto nodded, smiling. "We were worried, too." he said, sighing in relief. "But at least he's okay now."

"Where she from?" asked Cachen.
"I just want talk to Tai." said Lena. "I like talk to Tai."
Tina nodded. "I know how you feel." she said. "I'd be worried to."

Katie chuckled, licking Cachen's cheek gently. "I'm...not sure sweetie...Even Mommy doesn't have all the answers."
Tai giggled, nuzzling Lena affectionately. "I like talk to Lena, too!" she said happily.
Balto smiled lightly. "It doesn't worry me all that much." he said with confidence. "My son and his mate will take care of him right."

Cachen smiled. "But you know enough to be a mommy, that good."
Lena nodded. "Cachen feel better."
Tina nodded, looking around. Looks like my ancestor hasn't been born yet...wait a second, I feel I'm forgetting something. she thought but didn't say anything. "Yeah, so how are you kids doing? Other than Kodi."

Katie giggled and snuggled her pup. "Yes, and I get to be Mommy to the best pups in the world."
Tai's little tail wagged rapidly. 'Good." she said in relief.
"They're all doing fine." said Balto, thinking about his other children.

Cachen nodded. "We good pups, we try."
Lena smiled. "Yeah, it good he better but we never let him see blood again."
Tina smiled but then, as memories slowly crawled back to her and the shock from her near death returned, she realized something and looked shocked.

Katie smiled, shkaing her head slowly. "You don't need to try. As long as you listen and behave and love your family...you'll always be my good pups." she said softly. Family meant the world to her, couldn't bear to think that her little ones disliked anyone.
Tai shook her head. "Nu-uh, never!" she said with a tone of resolve, as if she were in charge.
Balto looked at tina, concerned. "What's wrong?" he asked, having a feeling that she may have remembered something.

Cachen giggled, cuddling closer to her. "Thank momma, I love momma."
Lena nodded. "Right, he no see blood and get sick."
"I've gotta go, I'll be back." said Tina, dashing off before he could respond.
Jenna blinked. "What was that about?"

Katie gently curled around the little pup. "And Momma loves Cachen, too." she said with a soft chuckle. She gently nuzzled her little son, closing her eyes gingerly.
Tai shook her head, smiling lightly. "Right!"
Balto shook his head, unable to fathom what was wrong. "I don't know, but I have a feeling we should just wait. In the meantime, I think," he glanced back-Kai was trying to catch his tail. "We have another visitor."

Cachen nodded. "Momma, tell Cachen the story bout Grandpa Balto again." he said, loving to hear it.
"We love Cachen, he our brother." said Lena.
Jenna cocked her head. "What do you mean?"
Tina dashed to where she'd arrived and sniffed around. "No sign of the Outsider...I can't sense that genetic demon ether." she said. "That could be really good or really bad. The lightning or time stream may have killed it, good, but it could've also severed our link, REALLY bad." she said. "Or it could still be in the time stream and show up any minute, bad but not horrible." she said, pacing. "Options...think Tina you've got a super genus IQ built into your brain!"

"You think everyone else would wanna hear it too?" she asked. Katie tried her best to include all her pups in their quality time. Though she wished she and Cachen could spend more time together.
Balto smiled, his tail coming out from behind him, Kai following. "I mean this." he said, leaning close. "I also mean we'll ask Tina about why she ran off when she returns."
Kai pounced on his Grandfather's tail, laying on his back, his forepaws holding it. Not to say it wasn't in his mouth...Kai chewed it happily.
Tai nodded, pouncing on her sister. "And I love Lena, too."

"We ask?" asked Cachen. "Then we know."
Jenna smiled. "Cute, and I'd like to know that too."
Lena giggled. "I love Tai too!" she pounced back.
"Ok, I could tell them I'm from the future...but I'll need to prove it, the bandana should work." said Tina. "It'd be better to explain that now so I can explain the Outsider thing if I need to, can't alter time too much, who knows though?" she asked. "Got nothing to lose...or the universe might implode...oh well."

Katie chuckled, nuzzling Cachen softly with her muzzle. "Well, why don't you go ask your brother and sisters?" she asked, tilting her head.
Balto nodded, getting an odd feeling in his gut that what Tina had to tell them was bigger than they thought. He winced however, when Kai's baby teeth began to gnaw and hurt. All the pup did was stare up cutely, his brown eyes shining.
Tai giggled happily and licked Lena's nose gently, her little tail wagging rapidly.

Cachen nodded, running over to his siblings. "Hey! Want to hear momma tell a story?"
Lena giggled, then looked to her brother. "Sure, Tai want listen?"
Jenna chuckled, looking down at her grandson.
"Ok, I'll tell them." said Tina, turning and heading back towards the others.
