Austin limped, the bullet starting to take effect, but he was somehow able to stay conscious. He panted heavily, trying not to faint. He looked all around him, all his newly made friends and his own pack member laid on the floor. The only other wolf that didn't lay on the ground with her own blood was Raven.

Raven looked all around her, blood spread out on the floor. She whimpered slightly, trying to think of how to get all of them out of this place. But as she thought, she was attacked by of of the two dogs. Although it looked as if they had run away they were leaping in a surprise attack. She jumped up eventually knocking the dogs off her back. The looked at Austin, as if they wanted to cause him more pain than he was already in. Raven growled and stood inbetween them. She bit at their necks and they layed dead in an instant. She turned to Austin. "How are we gonan get them all out of here?"

Austin shook his head. "I don't know but we have to try." He then took Rackshaw and Ruby, dragging them across the ground into a cave nearby. He would've carried them, but he didn't think he'd be able to handle the weight limping.

Raven followed Austin's idea and carried Twilight to the cave on her back. When she got there, she saw Austin panting heavily, desperate for more air. "Just rest, I'll be awake to watch over you guys."

"Are you sure?"

"Yes."

Austin then fell asleep, his wound slowly healing around the bullet that lay in his body.

Rackshaw slipped in and out of consciousness, seeing only the walls of a cave and Ruby by him. Just short clips of things, then it would go dark, then more clips. "Ruby...."

Twilight started opening her eyes. She looked up. her vision was still a bit blury. She realised she was in a cave along with her friends. "Ruby... can you hear me?" she said faintly. Her head then lowered to the ground. She felt like she was about to cry, but she didn't. "Raven... is that you?" she asked softly.

"Yes, I'm OK... It's just about the pain, I'm not really unconscious" she said to raven, slowly he was getting up. There was a gash on her back and she tried licking it to make it better.

"Don't worry Ruby, its gonna be OK" she smiled warmly at her hurt friend. "We should get some food for the others,and I'm gonna hunt whether you like it or not" Twilight said. She was a bit worried but she endlessly cared for her friends and she knew she must.

Twilight looked out of the cave, then at Rackshaw's and Ruby's limp body. "It's OK, I'll go" twilight said. She was ready to do anything for her friends. She walked out of the cave slowly and started sniffing around for any scent.

Twilight looked back at the cave which was now nearly invisible. Suddenly, a smell gripped her nose. Deer. She ran off towards the scent for awhile, following its trail. Then, right before her,she saw a deer herd behind some trees. Slowly and stealthily she got nearer to them and she spotted an easy target. there was one female with an injured leg. She limped along the ground, and other then that she looked like a good meal. twilight had hunted a lot by herself without a partner so she wasn't scared of hunting alone.

Twilight got closer to the female, slowly without making a noise. When she thought she was close enough, she ran like lightning towards the deer. She twisted and turned and when she was vulnerable Twilight leapt onto her back, biting deep into the deer's back, her teeth sinking in. She felt the blood on her mouth and slowly the deer collapsed unable to run anymore. Twilight bit into her neck to finish her off. She looked at the deer triumphantly and let out a howl indicating to her friends she had caught the deer. Then she dragged the deer back to the cave for all of her friends and pack-mates to feed on.
