Chase seemed a little dazed by the whole thing, but suddenly gained realization of the situation. He gasped as he looked down at the never ending cliff. He whimpered then turned to Erin. "I don't know! Something came over me!" he cried, then as he saw her hand him her paw, he reached as far as he could. He couldn't seem to get close enough and let out his breath as he almost gave up. He sighed, then kept trying to reach. He slipped once more, and as his fur was being blown like crazy by the wind, he tried desperatly to grab onto something. He ended up grabbing a rock right beside to doberman. He gasped for breath as he realized he could've died.

Erin watched her brother, scared and helpless, her paw still thrust out to reach him. SHe looked over at her mom, then ran over to herm wide eyed. "Mom, Chase is hanging off the cliff too!" she cried, her paws scrabbling in the dirt, anxious to do something, to help.

Dark reached over and grabbed the pup by the scruff. "Hold on." he realised He wasn't saving himself but a poor Helpless pup too. He began Pulling his weight onto another rock, His body shifted as he raised on paw over the other, his paw slipped, he Slowly Reached his up to the top of the mountian. then the other paw. He let out a breath. he reached his head up and let the pup up. he had no more energy. his paws slide back and so did his body, his paw made it to the edge of the cliff..

Erin licked Chase, glad that he was afe, then realized that the strange doberman was slipping abckwards. "Mom!" she screeched, trying to pull him up. SOmething in her knew that she had to save him, that he was important.

Marcus gaped and then cried "Mom he's slipping!" he looked back at the doberman and tried to grab his paw before he slipped. he grabbed his paw but he wasn't enough to pull him up. he tried to pull him up.

Erin was still trying to pull the doberman up, along with Marcus now. She pulled on his other paw, hard. Her front paws were splayed out, and her muscles hurt from trying to pull him up. He wa still slipping backwards. His paw started to slip, so she lunged, getting a better grip. She growled sooftly, thyen pulled harder, trying not to let him fall.

Chase watched as the others were trying to pull the doberman up. He thought the least he should do is try to help him since he saved his life. He ran to the cliff and put his paw out. He reached the doberman's paw and tried to help pull him up. He seemed to be coming up but at the same time, falling down. For now, it looked like he and his brother and sister could keep the doberman there until their mother came and helped. But Chase didn't know how much longer he could hold on.

Erin pulled harder, glad for Chase's help. "Mom!" she yelled through a mouth full of paw. She strained her muscles, and her ears were alid back. "Mom!" she wailed. SHe was losing her grip, she couldn't hold on to him much longer. He was heavy, and she was only a pup. She felt herself slipping forward along with the doberman.

"Hurry up mom!" he said in a muffled voice. his muscels hurt from pulling and almost let go. he growled and then pulled with all his might.

Dark noticed he was falling, he cought his grip. he pulled himself back, he was holding onto the ground his top half up and other half off, he struggled to get up, he finally got up. "Thank you pups," Dark looked at erin then Moved his eyes across to chase then marcus. "Thanks you." he repeated.

Claire woke to screaming of this siblings, she ran as fast as she could too them, almost skidding off, She cought her blance she looked up at the Doberman. she growled and leapt onto him "Don't hurt my brothers and sister! she cryed aloud. she got the wrong understanding.

"Clarie!"Marcus said and went red with embarrassment "Sorry mister I think Clarie is a little too protective," He smiled weakly hoping he would understand. he scratched his ear and shook his fur. "Erin's right you do smell like us," he said as his nose twitched. He shook his fur once more.
