Metal Head Pup · **Posted:** Sun Dec 27, 2009 3:12 pm

"Yeah. But I'd rather scare the butcher. At least that ay, we get free meat, not that garbage they feed us."

Deryck padded along the way, heading for the butcher's shop. "You provide a distraction, rip his pants or something, and I'll grab two steaks," he whispered. "Got that?"

Nancy nodded And raced in, She barked madly before yaking at the butchers trousers. So he was trying to chase her with them round his ankles.

Deryck suppressed a cackle of laughter and raced in after two steaks. He slid the display case, where the meat was shown to the humans, with his nail and then grabbed two of the finest steaks of the batch. Seeing the butcher come back, he darted out, leaving nothing but a less full display case.

(You know, the thing where they show the different meats at a butcher shop. Don't know what it's called. XD)

Nancy met him outside grinning, She was squiting slightly through one eye but chuckled when she saw him "We got rat guy good!"

"Yeshwheeedit!" Deryck tried to say through the thick steaks in his mouth. He gave one to Nancy and then a thought came to him. "We better get a little farther from Fat-so over there, but not close enough to camp, they'll see us with the steaks." He picked up his steak and padded over to a tree up the hill, where neither the butcher or their owners could see them.

Nancy followed him up the lay down in the shade and started chewing on her steak

Metal Head Pup · **Posted:** Sat Jun 05, 2010 9:56 am

Deryck bit the steak and ripped off a chunk of meat. He gulped it down and did the same with the rest of his steak. "Well," he said, "I think we better get back before they realize we're gone. Maybe we can torture a few rats before we go in, though," he added, hopefulness entering his voice.
