"No...Demon...Those people Kept him..." Blue said. "We'll never see him again I hope." He said.
Suddenly the old lady walked onto the yard. Blue got up. He hadn't realy seen the lady. Only glimpses.
He went up to her. She saw his puffy fur. He looked healthy so she figurd he was a pet.

Naira took several deep breathes and walked out beside Blue. She noticed Sophie petting Blue softly.
"He's a cutie alright girl!" Sophie winks, "you got a good un'."
"Yes i do." Naira says softly and nuzzles Blue.

Blue liked Sophie. She was a nice lady.He felt good that Naira had a good owner
after all she'd been through. When she went inside, Luke came up. "Where have you been?
You missed practice!" Luke barked. Blue was kind of in shock. He'd never missed practice
before. A big race was coming up and it was they're first.

"Um...Yeah...just tell them I'll be there soon." Blue sighed. He looked at Naira.
"Um...I'll be right back! Promise!" He said.

"oh alright," Naira sighed, "I'll miss you," she smiled and nuzzled him, than watched him go to practice.
I hope he doesn't get in trouble, maybe I should follow him?
Naira began to walk towards town, I'll do it

When he got almost where they would practice at, Spitz came up. This was rare, he bearly ever talked. "You
missed practice." Blue lowered his head.
"I know."
"Your team mates depend on you."
"I know..."
"You let them down."
"I know."
"But I forgive you."
"I-what?"
"You heard me, I forgive you....you are in love, am I right?" Spitz asked. Blue just blushed. "But from now on,
make time for practice." Spitz said. He walked off. Yonic came out of the bushes and started trying to get
spitz to talk again.

Naira watched from a distance. Spitz walked up to Blue. Naira held her breath. It looked like Spitz was scolding Blue. Blue was hanging his head. Naira bit her lip, I hope he's not in trouble. Suddenly Blue lifted his head as if surprised, she couldn't hear what they were talking about but whatever it was, Blue looked relieved. Naira let out a sigh of relief as well.
I wonder if I can get closer to them? Naira stepped out of the shrubbery just a few yards away from them, hoping not to draw attention to herself.
A sharp meow peirced through the air. "huh? Sammy?" Naira called

Blue heard a sharp meow. "SAMMY!" He barked. He saw Naira by a bush. "Naira! Is Sammy still with Sophie?"
Blue asked. But before giving the time to listen to her answer, he started running off.

The meowing grew louder. The furry kitten popped out of the shrubbery. "Sammy!" Naira scolded, "how did you get out?"
Sammy ran off without another meow. He raced toward Blue.
The other dogs on the team looked at them, puzzled.
"Sammy!" Naira called. "sammy!"

"Heh...Um....Go back to Mommy Naira..." Blue said. He wanted to see how his team was looking at him, but
couldn't. But of'course, Yonic spoke up. "Blue...Your the nerd with the cat?" Tundra growled. "Well, I think it's
cute!" She scoffed. Toloh, who had a mad crush on her steped up too. "Yeah Yonic! More then what you would
do for a poor kitten!" He barked.

Naira grimaced and picked up Sammy, she started to walk back to the house but then she stopped, lay Sammy on the ground (willing him to stay put) and walked up to Yonic. She looked him straight in the eyes. Her big brown eyes were electrifying.
" Girls don't like heartless guys...sonic...or whatever the heck you're name is." Naira growled. Then she gave Yonic her sweetest smile, nodded to Blue, "I'll see you again soon," she picked up Sammy and walked back to the house.

Blue Growled at the team. Looking Yonic in the eye, he barked out 'Jerk'. And left.
He walked out to the bakc yard and crawled on his doghouse. He was kinda embaressed to see
Niara when all that has just happened, so he wanted to wait awhile.

Naira dropped Sammy off in the house. She saw that Sophie was in her wicker rocking chair reading the Daily Times. Sammy jumped onto her lap and purred. Sophie stroked him gently. "Now that he is in good hands." Naira thought, "I'll go back to Blue." She ran into town and sniffed around looking for Blue. She finally found him in the dog house. "Blue?" she said quietly. "Its me, Naira.."

"Oh...hey...sorry about Yonic, he can be a real jerk sometimes....he was cool as a pup, when we were pups,
we were best friends but now...I dunno." Blue said. He came up to her. "Here's somthing we havn't done in a
while....Let's take a walk." He smiled.

Naira nodded. "i guess he just doesn't understand what thats like..to care for something thats a different species." She chuckled and smiled back at Blue. "A walk sounds terrific! where to?"

"Hmm...I dunno...Let's see where it takes us." Blue smiled. They stepped onto a path to walk on.
Blue hadn't been down that path in so long, that he had pretty much forgotten what it lead to.
