Troy left to be alone for a little while. When Troy was alone, he sighed and straightened up. While doing so, he started to became who he was before his mate died but did not succeed fully. He went back to the other dogs and seen Harley. He walked towards Harley and he saluted her in police fashion. Then he sat down near her and said very seriously "I am sorry about earlier and thank you for showing me how stupid I was being. I am myself again, thanks to you. I am deeply in your debt, Harley." Then, he saluted her again and started to walk away from the group of dogs heading towards the police station very quickly.

Troy laughed at that and said very seriously "No I will not Sarge. You said to run until I passed out. I did just that. You did not say how though. So I am not staying in the skunk den. I did what you asked. You cannot say that I did not because we both know that I did." Then, Troy started to walk to the police station.

Troy kept on walking to the police station but said while doing so "make me, Sargy. I am not afraid of no old dog that thinks he is all that. Your brother should have heard of me anyways and he should have told you to be nice to me. I am the best trained dog in the world and I don't want to hear it right now, Okay? I will let you know a little secret of the government trained dogs. We are in the true front lines and we take care of the really bad people and not the low lives. We have you guys for that. We don't waist our time on them." Troy then continued to walk towards the police station.

Troy got out of the hold like it was nothing and pinned Sarge so good that there was no way out of his death hold that he had on him. He said while doing so "I was trained by him part way and then I learned things from my mate. She taught me everything she knew and I perfected them and your older brother's moves that he taught me. Like I said I am the best trained dog in the world and you or any other dog can't beat me. I do not need to learn compassion or understanding of others. I just need to get my old self back all the way. He knew all of it including understanding of others and such but I do not. I will let you go now and we need to talk alone so I can tell you and explain to you why I am like this. I need someone to talk to about this that is wise and not stubborn like Harley is and someone to cry on." Troy then let Sarge go and got up and walked over to his mate's grave and laid down on the grave.

Josh just sighed and rolled his eyes. "This is why I hate it during the night." He can never stand arguments, but after thinking this dog was all that... He never wanted to get involved. But when he looked up to see that Kira was heading over to Troy, he could tell that things were about to get pretty ugly...

Kira started growling until he started growling in Troy's here. "Listen up, hot-head!" she snarled. "If you think of us that way, you better be thinking that of yourself, too. You're a police dog now, so cut the government c***! We're here to do ours jobs and that's that. We follow orders directly, and if we don't, you take on offical leave and miss out on all the action. You may think you're smart, you may think you're all that, but in reality, you should relly listen to your elders and those who have more experience in this field than you do. So at least listen to reason, and shut up!!!!" And with that, she gave him a warning snap and stomped away, leaving Josh to be among the ones who are feeling a bit bewildered.

"Look Troy, I realize you've suffered a big heartbreak and you have my simpathy for that but if you want simpathy, you'll need to stop being so high and mighty about yourself." said Sarge. "Kodiak is right, no matter how strong you are, you're eventually going to run into someone better than you." he said. "And I might not be able to beat you but Gabriel probably still could, because he's known those moves much longer than you." he said. "And a word of advance, no matter how strong you are, believing too highly in yourself is a weakness, one that some people will exploit." he said. "I don't know who this guy you were chasing is but don't you think its possible that he intentionally killed your mate and knew you'd react this way?"

Troy sighed very sadly and said "No. I need to tell the actual story and not the make up story that dogs believe. Okay, my partner and I were chasing after the boss of the person who killed Buster for about two months. We were hot on his trail too. But a unfortunate thing happened. He and his thugs cornered us when we thought we had him cornered. We took out the thugs but when we went after the guy that we were exposed to go after he shot me and then my partner. Then, he came up to point blank range to me and got his gun ready to shoot me. He pulled the trigger but my partner-" Troy started to cry and continued "my partner tackled me out of the way of the shot and she got killed. I should have been the one that died that day, not her. It is my fault, my fault, that she is dead and Buster is too. I didn't react when Buster died. I froze in place. It reminded me so much of that scenario. It is my fault that both dogs are dead now. If I died then my mate would still be alive and Buster would be too, Sarge. What can I do? Please, Sarge, with all your wisdom make me feel better about myself. That is all I need to get my old self back and not this pathetic retch of a dog that thinks he is all that." Then, Troy started to cry very badly, pouring out all of his emotions that he has had bottled up inside himself for two weeks.
