Aurora also smiled, she was in heaven, or what felt like it anyway. The warmth from Glaedr was comforting, and for a second she wondered whether this was another trick of the wolves to taunt her, but she quickly dismissed the thought, nothing fake could feel as real as love does. She moved her head to look up at Glaedr's head, and she gently licked him on the chin.

Glaedr's eyes widened slightly, but he soon smiled and licked the top of her head.

'So what now' Aurora asked. She didn't want to remove herself from the warmth and security Glaedr provided, but she knew the moment would end at some point anyway. She sighed, moments like this never lasted long, but they were great. The longer we stay here, the more of his friends die from that parasite she thought.

Glaedr slowly got up and shook the dust off of his back. "Cmon Aurora, we need to go help the clan." He said, holding out his paw so that she could grab it and he could pull her up off of the ground.

(Sorry, I've been meaning to post for so long but I didn't really have the time with studies and everything. :shock:

Aurora gently grabbed Glaedr's paw, a soft smile on her face. She didn't want him to think that she was cross with him for standing up, because she wasn't, but it would have been nice to just have lain there a little longer. If we had lain there any longer, someone could have died she reminded herself.
Huntress had started walking again, her mind bristling with all the resurfaced memories that that area had brought, both good and bad. She was walking at a happier pace, the simple thought of a long lost friend making her both joyful and sad. I miss him she thought sadly, sighing slowly.

Glaedr smiled softly and, walking at an easy pace, headed in the direction of the clan. "Aurora, I'm glad I found you." He said softly.

'I'm glad I found you too, I've never had a friend like you before' Aurora said, blushing slightly and smiling. She sighed and enjoyed the walk, especially Glaedr's company, and loved the feeling of the sun on her scales and the cool of the shade.
Huntress allowed her mind to wander, it had been years since she had last seen her friend...alive. She stopped, a sudden movement amongst the rocks made her turn her head. Worry was beginning to gnaw at her, and she wondered if she was being followed.

Glaedr smiled slightly, his tail swayed from side to side slowly. "I wonder how the clan is doing.." He thought out loud.

Aurora's smile fell as he mentioned the clan. He must really be worried about them, I shouldn't have distracted him like that, it was selfish she thought. She didn't betray it on her face though, and kept walking.
Huntress ran at where she had seen the movement suddenly, hoping to catch whatever it was by surprise. She leapt over the layer of rocks with a deadly grace, and landed just in front of an old cave. Curiousity got the better of her, and she crept inside.

They soon neared the clan and a few dragons could be seen, they noticed Glaedr and Aurora and ran off to inform the clan leader (sorry, can't remember his name XD) that Glaedr had returned with the flower and a stranger, but Huntress was nowhere in sight.

Reyan listened to the group of young dragons' story. 'I am glad that Glaedr has returned with the flower, bring him to me as quickly as you can, and could one of you fetch the medic as well, we need someone to administer the flower' he said, eyeing the cave at the far end where the sick were being contained.
Aurora smiled at Glaedr. 'You must be glad to be home, it looks like a nice place' she said, looking around at the shady forest and lush green grass of the plains. 'Do you think they will accept me?' she asked quietly.
A movement in front of her made her start and growl. Half hidden by a few rocks was a dragon, crouched and ready to strike. 'Who are you, why were you following me' Huntress demanded. The stranger grinned and crept towards her, whispering something in her ear. Huntress pulled back, slightly startled, but a grin crept onto her face as well. The stranger began to walk out of the cave, brushing her side slightly with his own, and Huntress turned and followed him.

Glaedr turned to face Aurora. "I'm sure they will accept you." He replied, smiling slightly, he was going to say something else but then a small shout distracted him.
"Glaedr! Glaedr!"
Glaedr's smile grew as he turned around and hugged his little sister. "Ember, I'm glad to see you too." He said.
"It's been awful quiet without you bro, dad has been sleeping all the time and he's really pale, and I'm afraid to wake him incase he bites me." Said Ember, frowning slightly.
Glaedr's smile faded. "I'm gonna go and see him." Muttered Glaedr, he then headed off towards his father's cave. Once Glaedr was there he immediately but cautiously entered the cave. "Dad?" He said curiously. He got no reply. "Dad?" He repeated. Still no reply. It was difficult to see in the dark cave, but he could just make out the shape of a motionless figure. Glaedr breathed a small flame onto a stick laying on the ground and the cave got a little lighter. There, was his father, motionless, cold, pale..and he wasn't breathing. "No..." Muttered Glaedr, tears welling up in his eyes, he tried to hold them back but they just flowed down his cheek like a small river. "This is my fault, I shouldn't have left him, if Huntress had gone by herself, he'd be alive right now..all I did was slow her down..." He muttered. "THIS IS MY FAULT!" He shouted at the top of his lungs, he then slumped to the ground and forced his tears to stop. Glaedr stood and exited the cave, he then walked slowly to the lake and sat down.

Aurora nodded slowly. 'I hope so' she muttered to herself. They don't have to know about my secret she thought to herself. She didn't want to decieve anyone, but it could be necessary in this case. She turned to look as a smaller dragon came bounding up to Glaedr. She smiled in amusement and how laid back Glaedr's little sister seemed to be about the situation, but her smile faded when Glaedr began to walk away. She was torn, should she follow him and make sure he was O.K, or leave him to tend to private matters. She decided on the latter, and went deeper into the den to take a look around. It wasn't long before she heard a cry of anguish that sounded like Glaedr, and that spurred her to run towards the noise. When she got to the cave he was no longer there, but his pawprints were. She followed them carefully, trying not to make a noise, until she spotted Glaedr sitting sadly by a lake. She stopped, making sure she was hidden from his view, and sat down herself to watch.
Reyan heard the cry, and shook his head. He was sorry that Glaedr had had to find out about his father that way, but he had been informed a few minutes ago that he had succumbed to the lethal venom pumped out from the parasite. His assistant sat loyally beside him, awaiting instruction eagerly. Reyan turned to him, trying to keep the regret from his eyes, and said quietly 'go and find Glaedr now, this is a time to grieve yes, but more will grieve if we don't get the flower from him soon, and bring the new female as well'.

Glaedr was sitting by the lake quietly when he heard a slight rustling sound. "Hello?" He called softly, not knowing it was Aurora.

A small male dragon sprung out of the depths of the trees to Glaedr's left. He stopped and bowed his head slightly before saying 'Reyan is glad you are back, and wishes that you come with me to him to help the medic treat the sick and also so that he can debrief you, he wants you and the female quickly'. He glanced around, frowning when he saw the female wasn't with him.
Aurora stepped out from her hiding place slowly, in case Glaedr was cross with her. She bowed her head elegantly towards the small male, and gave Glaedr a questioning look. She didn't say anything, and just waited for his decision.
