Ana nodded. "Thanks bro." she said, licking her brother's nose.
Balto nodded. "You're still young." he said. "Just a little older."

"Welcome, sis," Kodi said with a smile.
"Still, it feels a lot older," Maria said. "I've finally grown into my paws and not tripping over myself. I don't think Ana as quite grown into hers yet though," she teased.

"I'll keep my eyes on the road though." teased Ana.
Balto nodded. "Well you'll always have big paws, runs in the family." he said, showing his large paws.

"Those paws come in handy when you're racing though," Kodi said.
"Yeah, I know," Maria said, looking at her still large paws. "But I;m not so small that I trip over them anymore."

Ana nodded, looking at her big paws. "That's why you're so good bro."
Balto nodded. "I know, that's part of being a puppy." he said. "And it teaches us to be better runners later on."

"And you're gonna be just as good someday," Kodi said.
"Well, it's definately worked for me," Maria said.

Ana nodded. "Thanks bro!"
Balto nodded. "I know." he said. "You're a pretty little female now." he said. "Alright, everyone ready to go?"

"Thanks, Dad," Maria said with a blush and a shy smile.
"Anytime," Kodi said. "Yep, we're all set," he called to his father.
"Then lets hit the road," Scout said.

"Alright, mush!" said Balto, starting off.
Ana waited for Scout to start moving, butterflies in her stomach at pulling this for the first time.

Scout started running.
Kodi ran beside Ana as they went off.
Maria drifted back to beside the sled and made sure nothing fell off.

Ana ran but looked nervious, which she was. She wasn't used to doing this.
"We should be able to get there soon." said Balto, keeping his eyes on the path.

"You doing okay?" Kodi asked Ana.
"Good," Scout said. "I can't wait to see my daughter."

"Just nervious." said Ana, still whimpering. "I'm sorry, I've never done this before."
Balto nodded. "I feel the same...both seeing your daughter and mine." he said, smiling. "I love seeing Aleu, she's a good kid."

"Well, there's a first time for everything," Kodi said. "Just keep your eyes on the road, and run."
"Yes, she is," Scout said. "And hopefully she knows something about my daughter."

Ana nodded. "Thanks for the tip." she asked. "Any others?"
Balto nodded. "I hope so too." he said. "I would love to see my sister again."
