Rascal bounded to Monday and stood beside her. "What's going on?" she murmured ot her friend, watching Midnight with pinned ears.
Winter slowly padded to teh group, cocking his head. Was Midnight okay? "Midnight, waht's wrong?" He padded to her slowly.

Tess looked at Winter. "Shes...umm... worried no one likes her."

"Oh, Midnight had a asthma attack. Bolt hurt her feelings," Monday said quietly.

"I tried. I was just turned away. Thats why-" but Midnight stopped herself.

"Your right. I do have wolf blood in me. But Jagger, Tess, wolves are proud creatures, like the lion and the horse. Us wolves are strong, and that's what im gonna be!" Monday said bravely.

Midnight looked at Winter. "Ask Monday, she knows. Wait is she ok?" Midnight asked.

Midnight started to run. "Of cource! Now come on, for a border collie, your awfully slow!" she teased.

"Alright, I'll show you how the wolf-dog does it!" she yelled over the wind. Midnight pumped her legs until she was racing to the barn through the rain at 30 mph (yes, wolves can run that fast)!

"You ok?" she asked, her voice filled with concern, and a seasoned bone in her mouth. She dropped it at his paws. "Eat up, dinners in a half hour!" she said cheerfully.

"MIDNIGHT!!!" Monday called, and ran over to her idol. "Rascal, Tad! Midnight's okay!!!"
