renee whimpered softly, feeling torn for the silver husky "but.. what about her?" renee looked into his icy blue eyes then walked to his right, then his left, pacing worriedly. She pulled her ears to a slight angle and looked back up at him "i dont want her to be alone.. she loves you..." let her tail droop slowly.

Luke, a black lab/siby mix, strolled along the streets, his tail wagging happily, a red bandana 'roud his neck. He barked twice in Cobalt's ear. "Wake up, lil girl. C'mon," He pushed her up.
"What?" She asked.
Luke grinned. "Gotta present," He digs in the saddle-bag attached to him and gives her a ham bone. "Got some for the pups, and their mama, too, Steeles' pups?"
"Yeah," Cobalt smiles as the walk down the road to their house.

I gulped hot tears eploding from my eyes and threw my muzzle into the frozen ground benth me. Why is all im cabiable of crying!? I thought as I wept. I'm so pathetic. I thought shoving my thick claws into a winter woren tree. "I have to get away." I whispered to the soft wind. I let my lean body slide down the tree until I hit the chilling snow drift below. My chest heaved up and down as I tore at the surrounding white powder aimlessley. "What did I do." I cried my voice torn and broken agaisnt the icey air.

Ban-Shee stormed over, spraying both dog and wolf with snow. "How long have you known Rene? I'm guessing about 4 or 5 days? Now, think about this. You have known your mate Katrina for a long time, had pups, and were ever so happy, and since you've known Renee for but a week, you think your ready to start a life with her!?" She threw her head up in disgust.

Ban-Shee was appalled. She stepped back, glared at Renee, spat at the ground by her friend's paws, and scampered off towards Katrina's location.

Renee pulled her ears back, growling softly at Ban-Shee then watched her leave. She looked back at steele and nodded softly "yea... i do.." she smiled and walked closer to him, letting her warm tounge brush over his thick snout lovingly, her white tail wagging harder by the minute.

Ban-Shee padded over to Katrina and licked her head softly. "It's alright. Steele's not one of those males that like to be committed to females who care about them. You'll find somebody...and hopefully you may be able to keep one of the pups..."
But Ban-Shee wasn't too sure about this. She didn't think neither of Katrina's daughters appreciated their mother in the least bit. Lying down next to her friend, she sighed and looked around the village.
