Eeyeah...especially here. On a Balto board. Nobody wants or needs to know. This board is about Balto 2. Not about TLKGIRL1998's private peccadillos.

For me, Jenna from the first Balto movie looks more beautiful than Aleu. However, Aleu is more beautiful than the version of Jenna from the other Balto movies. (Balto 2: Wolf Quest, and Balto 3: Wings of Change) But both of them are beautiful characters over all.

Um, getting back onto the topic here, I think Jenna from the first Balto is just a gorgeous dog. Her red fur has so many details and the fluff on her chest is very cute. I can see why Rosie adopted her. Aleu isn't really that special, well neither is Jenna in that movie. :/

Balto 1. Jenna is the main female character. She was drawn to be appealing of both sexes--feminine but as well as capable of being able to take care of her self.


She is attractive to see at all angles, especially (in my view) when surrounded by auroras and different shades of color


Balto 2


Its as if the animators decided Jenna wasn't in the spot light anymore so...quick draw up of her and hope the fans wouldn't notice. While its true the story does focus around Alue, its little excuse for their lack of trying when drawing characters of in a movie, especially one (ie Jenna whom is well loved from Balto 1)

Okay Alue.


As the main character of Balto 2, attention to detail to her is essential. As the daughter of Balto and Jenna, combining the two was a task no doubt--keeping Balto's wolf form while also adding Jenna's feminine features. Thank goodness they did and Alue did not end up like her mother in Balto 2.



As I said before, I liked Jenna's form especially when caught in the shades of auras, as shown in the picture above. They certainly did a good job drawing her.



An essential part in a character, is the ability to express all emotions and we see that in this picture. Alue, shows all kind of emotion allowing us the viewers to see her as she is, though she may not see it herself. Jenna in Balto 2 seems to lack such. But may I pull you back to Balto 1, Jenna shows similar emotion when Steele attempts to lie about Balto's death. In the picture above, we can kind've see Jenna's anger as well.

Balto 3

I'd daresay Jenna's character had been massively improved. Her voice is also improved, she sings! And to boot, the animators actually decided Jenna to look more like her original self.....instead of...of....of what she was in Balto 2.



Now down to the main question, who is more beautiful?
Based on movies, Jenna, being well drawn in 2/3 movies.
On character? Well when it comes down to characters being related to each other. Alue received her feminine looks from her mother, so majority of credit goes to Jenna. While Alue does have blue eyes....and I admit have a thing for pretty women and blue eyes--besides the point, Jenna remains the source of Alue's beauty. So Jenna wins

Rosy (<--- correct spelling) was a young child in the first Balto movie. There is no way she adopted her, and there is not even an indication in the movie that her parents adopted her. For all we know, she could have been acquired as a puppy...by Rosy's parents.

I was more talking about why anyone would adopt her, we really don't know how long Jenna's lived with her family though. Sorry for my fail spelling.

In Balto II Jenna says to Balto "I was their age when I was adopted by my girl". So it could be possible, even though we don't know how old Rosy was in the first film.

So basically Rosy did adopt Jenna, the line pretty much says so. ^^ Maybe she is only a year or two old then.

I'm not saying that she was, I was just tossing that in there.

And once again, as with other situations, we are talking about the difference between the first movie and then either one or both of its sequels. No mention of the situation is made in the first one, and this throw-away line from the third is largely irrelevant. When considered in a grander scope, a six or seven year old girl couldn't adopt diddly. She'd barely be able to comprehend the process at that age.

It was just a scripted line in a sequel. And not a very good one at that (the line I mean).
