Mist looked back at Alex. Somwthing was drawing her back to him. She shook it off, picked Luke back up, and headed toward the mountain in silence.
We sould wait for the others.

Shayla turend patiently to the pup. "He's not that bad, just stressed. You have ot understand that we left a lot and risked a lot to follow you. I was with Dan but left so now I'm in trouble with him. And Luke, don't worry, I can lkeep my temper easier than Alex can. I used ot be good friends with your Momma and I hope I still am a good freind of her's because I believe she's innocent."

Luke looked into Shayla's eyes for several minutes, which might of been ackward for the wolf. "She's alright momma, she isn't lieing." he said with certainty. "But I'm not trusting that mean wolf until he says he's sorry, until them I'm glad I broke his toe."

"It's useul to have," Mist said to Daelie. She turned to Shayla. "You might as well give up. There's no way he'll ever so sorry to me." She looked down at the ground. "I can't believe I ever liked him."
Alex growled. He wanted to make things better with Mist, but everytime he talked to her, she got angry with him which made him angry with her. There was no way to win with that girl! Alex sat down, refusing ti say anything to Mist.
Dan walked up to the scene with Aracaine. He spotted Alex and padded up to him. "Whats goin' on?"

"You used to be a couple?" Dan said in disbelief. He broke out laughing.
"'Used to' is the key word," Mist said. She looked at Shayla. "I kinda miss the old Alex," she said.
Alex laid down, no longer trying to hear what they were saying. He was waiting for Mist to come over to him. He really needed to talk to her.
