Fang smiled as he thought of those that cared about him in his sleep. He dreampt of the way he wanted things to be, his father turning over a new leaf and living in peace with Balto and the others in Nome, and caring for him.

The storm had since, slowened, but snow still fell upon the ground in a soft flurry of white. The boat's deck would since then be covered in a soft blanket of snow, while those sheltered, slept in warmth, huddled together.

Katie's already bad condition had sicne worsened, and her breath was staggering. She had lost all tension, and lay perfectly still and limp upon the soft cot.

Balto slipped his head into the harness. "Jenna, I hate to see them cry to but all the mushers are at the vets with their sick dogs, we have to show them we're ready to do this and the pups know that."

Cachen nodded. "Bro, can you help me fold this thing up so it fits better? I'm having trouble with it."

Fang rushed to the boiler room and searched for harnesses. He figured Dusty's was good for Jenna but he had to find smaller harnesses for the pups and that was harder.

Lena tried to ignore the cries as well but couldn't. Instead of depressing her though, they encourged her, knowing all those dogs needed her family to save them.

OOC: gonna be some other dogs for a sec.

Ralph looked down through the grate in the floor. Dusty was in the same deep sleep as Katie and Kirby was nearly there. Ralph could feel it worsing for him too. He saw Kodi pass below. "Kodi, good luck." he said in a pained voice.

Jenna nodded, letting go of the harness and lopping it over her muzzle. "I know...So, it's a risk we have to take huh?" she asked, thinking about how packed the hospital must be.

Kai nodded, looking at it. "Just needs to be tightened. Lay down again and I'll do it."

Tai smiled, going over to her brothers. "Scream bloody murder if he tries to choke you." she said jokingly, watching Kai pull back with shock. As if he'd never do it...

Kodi's eyes widened, backing up to see Ralph, eyes hardened. "Don't worry, try to rest...I'll be back with the medicine before you know it." he looked to Lena. "This sickness is way too personal to not fight. All the healthy dogs are being rallied." he chuckled "Which would mean, my entire family." he nodded, tryign to stay stright faced.

Balto slipped his front legs through the harness and stood. It was a little tight but it was still strong. "How do I look?" he asked.

Cachen yelpped slightly. He stood up. "That's better."

Fang pulled out the last harness he needed, his own. He slipped it on and ran to the vets.

Ralph nodded. "I guess you being so stubborn is a blessing this time." he said, trying to laugh but coughing instead. "I guess you won't have my complaining slowing you down this time, though I think I've got a right to complain now." he said and got back on his cot.

Lena nodded. "Being a hero runs in the family huh papa?" she asked.
